Forget the polling machines - the markets senses winners early. Look at the market on friday. In the US or any country, the businesses decide who the ruler is. U perform, u r the winner. Infcat the same machines were used in the BJP won areas as well. U need to deliver yourself on policies as well
BJP lost because of: 1. Its campaign was highly negative 2. It lacked imagination and out of box thinking, on terrorism and national security, all they talked was POTA had no opinion on police reforms, security infrastructure and command etc. 3. Despite history of selling national interests and severe corruption, congress seemed more mature and balanced organization, their communication was measured and accurate 4. In today's world perception is everything and that is where BJP went horribly worng. In none of the debates I saw, they inspired confidence and looked as man without vision or dream 5. Indians are poor in remembering their history and that is why they are ruled by foreigners for more than 1000 years, so this mandate should not come as surprise. 6. Indian media worked overtime to show BJP in poor light and worked for congress, it was blatant and clearly visible

It is very absurd and ridiculous to come upwith such comments in the wake of Mr.Advaniji's subterfuge remarks against gentleman PM MMS for which he was paid dearly.It is wise decision to quit the party and go on exile.

Absolutely Specially in congress ruled states RAJASTHAN,and MAHARASHTRA were programmed around third phase onwards. High Level Fixing in TN , some of the places if u hit AIDMK , the light was coming on DMK.

PEOPLE SHALL AVOID NDA TILL THEY COME OUT WITH SECULAR APPROACH ON THEIR AGENDA FOR THE COMMON CAUSE OF INDIAN. THEN ONLY INDIANS WILL NOT SUFFER PROBLEMS LKE BOMBAY, GUJARAT, RIOTS AND TAJ HOTEL INCIDENT.

Anybody who is a non-supporter of UPA or anybody who wants to see a change in the country politics should understand that voting will only bring about this change. Most of the people who didn't vote are the well educated ones, perhaps who like to sit in the luxury of their houses and enjoy a holiday. These people have forgotten that that one day can cost them five years of pain. Perhaps we have become more pessimistic and submissive towards what is happenning around us.
The govt. should think of providing voting facilities through internet and mobile and then perhaps you can see an increase in voting. People holidaying will also vote then.
We are only getting what we had wanted, so its really futile to blame anybody else. Let's sit and watch for another 5 years to make another mandate.

BJP should think seriously about the hidden agenda of English Media and Congress.It costs a lot for BJP.BJP must keep away from atleast 3 media faces like TOI,CNN IBN and NDTV and should take initiation to start an alternative Media culture in india

The grapes are sour..BJP won't won a decisive mandate ever even if the 100% Hindu vote..remembr 60% Hindus have always traditionally voted against BJP ..BJP is NOT a Hindu party NEITHER a Bhartiya party its a "Brahmin Janata Party" ..very castist party like BSP and SP to the core....

The media will not influence voters.. in 2004 all media were predicting the NDA's victory.Yet BJP lost. In Mumbai the entire gujarati media is owned BJP/Shivsena .. but that did not give any edge to them
