US & India feel better !!
by Ravi Kant on May 16, 2009 02:30 PM

Communists are down & out. That must make US & India feel lot more comfortable. I predicted much before elections that CPI & CPM will be decimated. What little remains would be destroyed next time. India must develop closer relationship with US who has done well to help us against Pakistan. Hopefully, there won't be any more 9/11 or 26/11. MMS's next term should augur well for economic prosperity, peace & stability without "any appeasement" of minorities any longer. Treat all equal & let merit alone decide future of all citizens without any skewed reservations.

All left policies should be thrown to Bay of Bengal
by abboral boral on May 16, 2009 01:10 PM

Left and their misrule have broken and virtually killed one generation of young brain last 30 years .Stats shows that never ever young minds and brains of west bengal could stand on their own due to

1.1947 to 1966 ==people of Bengal suffered due to partisan .Some 3 to 4 lakh people of Bengal died due to riot, hunger ,illhealth ,no shelter and nearly 50 lkah people suffered due to displacement in undivided Bengal
2. 1966 to 1978 --thousands of most brainiest young mind in the world will killed due to naxalism ,so no development in Bengal
3.32 years of misrule in Bengal by left parties killed the aspirations of thousands young minds again

So I can conclude that the pillar of human being that is young brain of west bengal could never stand on their feet due to above reason so how west bengal will stand in development .Try to understand the logic

So time has now come to throw the left and left policies to bay of bengal forever and people should not carried away for this win rather they should work for development only .West Bengal has lost enough brains last 60 years but still brains are available to show the world that they can change the things for world of good for WB

left is dead due to shabby performance & dubious chinese cont
by sumit ghosal on May 16, 2009 12:57 PM

Our communists are anti-growth.SO no need of looking at china.See the dilapidated buses running in kolkata.Including the auto's run on kata tel(poisonous coctail of petrol naptha).See the unionised bus drivers mowing down the general public and escaping.See the unionised hospital employees giving extremely shabby service. No industry and existing industry closed due to unions.Bankrupt land acquitision policy where government and its goons purchasing land forcibly for peanuts developing the land at state cost and profiting from it.So left and communist are dead in india and would be dead in west bengal within few years.

Democracy won
by Raj Adhikari on May 16, 2009 12:10 PM

No matter which party is winning, the ultimate winner is our democratic system. That is what keeps India above all these dictator and communist countries. Congress and BJP have same policies so it does not matter who is at the helm. Dr. Singh is the best leader to lead us during this global turmoil and Indians have said it loudly and clearly.

Great result
by Manian Vasudevan on May 16, 2009 11:37 AM

It is wonderful to note that the barking noise of the LEFT will not be much in Parliament. Thanks to the Indian voters, the LEFT is almost wiped out. Now, we can expect the Central Government to be stable without being subjected to blackmail
