Its time BJP owns a TV channel else they will be buried silently
by Balaraman on May 15, 2009 02:23 PM  | Hide replies

REAL FACE OF biased INDIAN MEDIA.
Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations. It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point.
BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT.
(1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had
happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the
news.
(2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in
fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the
opposite side. There would have been discussions, hen fights, opinion polls and
SMS surveys.

The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country?

no doubt why I had this intution. I watch CNN ibn on internet as I am outside India. Most of the time I found it is biased towards congress. Sometime it is too much to take.

Rule of Law ceased to exist!
by flame waves on May 15, 2009 02:08 PM

The comrades have made Bengal a perfect hell in terms of administration. We have: Gorkhaland demand, Kamtapur Demand, Koch Aspirations, Adivasi aspirations, Nandigram agitation, Lalgarh agitation etc. All of these are just and valid. The administration failed on two counts:
1. The injustice and inequality has not been addressed by the Government and administration (except operation Barga)
2. They are terribly failed to contain and diffuse the agitations. If the Adivasis (with Bows and Arrows) can stop the Downtown for five hours, and the Police commissioner apologies to resolve that; then think about rural Bengal!

Shatrugan sinha of BJP said this in an interview last night. I think Cong and BJP should give up wooing all these regional parasites and come together to form government. Its easier to form a common minimum program between two large parties than with zillion spread across the country.

Pranab is right!
by flame waves on May 15, 2009 01:55 PM  | Hide replies

It is rightly said by Mr. Pranab Mukherjee - "Let CPIM (big dada of the Left) first learn to rule a state, and then they may learn to rule the Country". I will add, after they learn to rule the country (not a possibility in farthest future), they may comment on External affairs and Foreign policy. We have a strange breed of semi-literate politicians who ruined the golden Bengal for the last 32 years (study indices about education, health, housing) and preach about the International relations!

My friend, I am sure you are not from Bengal. Please come and see what Ms. Mamata Banerjee is doing when the whole Congress and BJP have failed to contain, viz., Left menace.
I am sure you will admire her for the courage and determination and honesty.
PS: I am not a TC activist, but a stupid common man who still thinks that we need honest politicians rather than shrewd politicians.

Third Front & the Left : Shameless hypocrites
by Jay Sen on May 15, 2009 01:53 PM  | Hide replies

The Third Front is another opportunistic alliance cobbled by he Left egoists to screw up India further. Abject lack of principles - the Third Front parties are open to sleeping with anyone if it gets them power. For the Left itself, let them no more posture as being the being the nation's conscience. My foot!

Nandigram horrifyingly displayed the complete lawless state that Bengal has become, with armed cadres/goons of the CPM terrorising people. Bengal has become a decrepit state, with most of its educated folk having quit. Lockouts, strikes, bandhs, gheraos - order of the day. Industry hounded out - complete goondaism prevails. Bangladeshi trafficking nets the CPM a big sums continuously - these guys are plain anti-national.

Infrastructure in West Bengal does not even match up to national standards. Check out the roads, hospitals, healthcare, sanitation - you will see. Modern industry is an AFTERTHOUGHT - long after rest of India has moved on miles ahead. Calcutta, once a great metro, today does not have eminence in the national economic scene.

The Left just does not get it - they are hopeless anachronisms.

And yet, stupefyingly, they get elected each time. It just goes to show the pathetic quality of Opposition led by a top-class rabble rouser.

Bengalis deserve better. They are actually too lazy and scared to FORCE change. Content with endless 'addas' on esoteric topics, cha and cigarettes - in short analysis-paralysis and little ACTION. Little hope.

Comrades and Sick Jokes
by kraft on May 15, 2009 01:53 PM

Biman Bose[like the Yechuries and the Karats of
the world] is good at poor OR sick Jokes! These Comrades who opposed the introduction of Computers and support China against India are singularly responsible for keeping
Bengal Backward. This disease called Leftists is like cancer. We should not allow it to spread to other parts of the country. The
greatest service Biman Bose type people can do for Bengal is to retire from Politics. The less we hear about these hollow goons the better for the country.
