I see many comments here as anti BJP and anti hindu.First of all i never understand why there are so many antihindu and anti BJP people on the net.If we go by data, during all 57 years congress has been the ruling party and in janta party rule there was ex congressman only the prime minister,vp singh also was a comgress product. So question is who has done damage to the nation-100%congress.BJP ruled for 5 years and made the country a nuclear power, made deep progress in infrastructure, and india really had a place in world politics and economy. But I see a funded campaign here to oppose BJP -if IP addresses are checked, most of them will be from outside india, foreign agencies are funding these people so that corrupt antinational parties could remain in power and india could never develop. There are also attempts to divide hindu society on caste line, there are many abusive remarks for brahmans as if they are controlling the power.I am sure there is a bigger agenda here from antinational and anti hindu agencies to abuse BJP-a national party with clean people and some castes of hindu religion to divide the hindus. It needs investigation. Many times you will see choicest abuses to hindus in the comments.

There is no anti-hindu comments anywhere, its about only anti hindu-terrorists. Why BJP is criticised is because they are supporting these hindu-terrorists. Otherwise, BJP is not a bad party at all, just another party who follows the same financial fundamentals as Congress. BJP should try to be more secular. One of the recent incidents when Varun said that all the Muslims should be killed, BJP should not have tried to protect him. A national party should never do that. They should have leaders from all the religions and caste. Could they ever project a Muslim leader as their PM candidate. Until that, they cannot be termed as a national party.

Don't lie shrek. At least have the decency to own the truth. 90% of the BJP bashers are posting antiHndu posts and not enough valid acccusations against them. Such blatant lying is pathetic.

One point is basically pushing me to believe that BJP is perhaps an inch better given the class of alliances they are choosing! A TDP, BJD etc. are much better than the SP/ TMC class. As BJP is pretty clear about their stance on communal part, alliances with Shivsena etc. should not make any difference anyway. Again, TDP/ BJD are at least progressive parties in comparion to the destructive parties like TMC/SP/RJD. Congress' motive should have been to pick a better ally than with an ultamite motive of government formation.

BJP, actually the truth is the other way around. In every poll on the net, BJP trounces congress three to one. You are right since Congress ruled for a majority of the time it gets a major share of the blame, by the same token it also gets a major share of the successes. It made India Nuclear power in 1974 (Pokhran). IITs, IIMs, IIScs, India being a IT super-power, chandrayan; world's second fastest growing economy, PSLV, and massive infrastructure projects like Bhakhra Nangal, Bhilai, BHEL, HAL and on and on. The division in Hindu society is inherent in Hinduism because it is laid down in our religious texts. Why else do you think Ambedkar renounced Hinduism with a million of his followers. All religions have problems in their orthodox forms. The solution is in being more rational and secular. I am a Hindu and proud of it. Not because it promotes casteism, but because it gives me the freedom to learn things for myself and have alternate view points. Hinduism's greatest strength is in its tolerance. It is like a vast ocean that absorbs every other ideology and belief. Lot of people take a very narrow view of Hinduism, and that is where they negate the one of the greatest tenet of Hinduism. Tolerance and Knowledge. Saraswati isn't a goddess in Hinduism for nothing. Knowledge is prized.

Why do you guys quickly go in to this foreign conspiracy or christian conspiracy?. Do you thinks the whole world has no other job?. The world is complex, there are so many entities and interests are in play. It is not easy to manipulate and pull off such a thing. Believe me no one in the world gives a f about Hindu or not. Is there ignorance and bias from west, yes there is. But dont get in to this fantasy of foreign agencies posting message here. World has its own problems.
If BJP is wise, instead of pointing fingers on Congress, it is good point fingers on them and analyze their own short comings so that they can win in the next election. Their own agenda and their own policy will be more than sufficient for this.
For some reason BJP doesn’t get it, destroying churches, mosques or temple is not going to take anybody anywhere. This is a cheap thrill and Indian people has grown up and have realized it.
BJP cry out religious conversion. What is behind this false accusations? We have a court system, let the court decide rather than these uneducated people decide who to worship.
The fact is that Christians came to educate the people (example: Orissa) so that they can think and vote rightfully. No one can suppress people for a prolonged time; the fact is that these people will wake up one day as it happened in the history.
Both Congress and BJP need to understand religion is nothing more than people. All religion teaches if you do good deeds, you get eternity.
Third front on its way, if BJP and Congress don’t realize, they will be big time losers so it is good to re-think before it is too late

No sir, if you find any. I urge you to take them to court. That is the civilized way. If I don't want to convert, I am not going to.As a grown up person, it is our decision, no one can force us. It is the constitution

if missionaries help poor without converting, then you can accept them as true christians. By the way, why dont they convert(spread xtianity) with rich people. Is it only for poor people in India?

Who said Christens killed the Swamiji? Here is where you are wrong. If the Maoists killed him, need go after them. Christianity never advocates violence or killing. Let me put it this way. If you find a person committed a crime, that person is accountable and not the community

This is strange. They produce "countless" babies (although I have nothing agains babies as they are innocent) to eat up all resources of India and make it a poor country.
How so ever govt hard try, they will not let India shine. Every year they add crores of Jhuggis, dont send their sons and daughters to school..but just to mad-rassa to make them even more illitrate.

Re: 2 cents

Ashutosh, your post is a contradiction in terms. There are a whole lot of muslims who are South Indians (a.la Abdul kalam, AR rehman etc)and there are a lot of them who are north Indians. You cannot move the country forward if you ignore 150 million plus of its residents. That you suggested otherwise, in itself raises doubts about your intelligence.
