BJP's Progressive Alliances!
by Manojit Sarkar on May 16, 2009 02:10 AM  | Hide replies

One point is basically pushing me to believe that BJP is perhaps an inch better given the class of alliances they are choosing! A TDP, BJD etc. are much better than the SP/ TMC class. As BJP is pretty clear about their stance on communal part, alliances with Shivsena etc. should not make any difference anyway. Again, TDP/ BJD are at least progressive parties in comparion to the destructive parties like TMC/SP/RJD. Congress' motive should have been to pick a better ally than with an ultamite motive of government formation.

Manojit , beleve me or not , only two major Political forces are left in India
One congi other bjpee
so congi has no other option to ask help from sp rjd and wat else they can do ?
and same applies over bjpee.
so as they say its nothing but dance of democracy

If both these parties decide to ignore the regional parties and sign a treaty within themselves of doing the same, all these small regional parties will be history and mere spectators of the parliament. I do understand that there are 2 major central parties and unfortunately they are not playing the role of big brothers.

Good lord! If BJP gets around 180 seats that comprise of 34% direct votes! BJD/ TDP might add up to 40% of Indian votes. Now if you believe consider SP/RJD/TMC to be rather destructive than progressive, Congress would not comprise of more than 35% direct votes! Anyway, my point was straight and was not in support of BJP - you must first get that. It is rather having a better government at the center supported by sane allies.

amazing that nitish kumar wants to support congi even though he might lose govt at the state level if he does so...still he is not asking for important ministerial position when it comes to supporting congress. however, he does want PM position if he supports BJP..what a traitor...probably, licking the a!s! of roman sonia is more pleasant an experience for nitish..so he doesnt want any thing in return provided sonia f!ks him
