What a GREAT CM he could have made!
by Jaydip Ghosh on May 15, 2009 06:22 PM  | Hide replies

Ashoke babu belongs to the rare group of leftists whose polytical activities are governed by their sensibility, intellect, profound knowledge and love for people. He is an internatinally acclaimed communist, but to us he is a humanitarian first. The interview above is brilliant. Hope the CEOs of the CP(I)M will read his words this time, and for a change, understand them.

without God (who stands for 1) how many ever people (who stand for zero) you add, it will end up with a BIG ZERO only. This was told by a great being (not me)!

Totally wrong assessment of Comrade Mitra, who once claimed that "we are not Bhadraloks (gentlemen) we are communists." He is also responsible along with his co-comrades for systematic destruction of education system in West Bengal by scrapping off English at the primary level which ultimately created a class of expressionless and hence spineless group of ill-educated backward section having nothing to hold on but the party middlemen. Its the time to unmask these people who in the name of liberation of the poor has liberated themselves into the world of caviar and champagne in the process of historical materialism.

Both Capitalism & Communism hv pros & cons
by Ram Sharma on May 15, 2009 12:29 PM  | Hide replies

Both Capitalism & Communism hv strenghts & weaknesses. China has combined good parts of both systems. With Communism, it has been able to reduce its population growth (with single child norm since 1979), which is 0.6%, compared to world avg of 1.2% and of India's 1.6%. Earlier it had solved its language problem by having one language for the whole country, though it also had many languages and difficult scripts. No Chinese feels inferiour of not knowing English. InIndia anyone without knowledge of English is a second class citizen. It also developed its infrastructure very well, unlike India.

It opened up itself in industry to capitalistic system in 80's, to introduce competitiveness. Though most of their big industries r in Govt sector even now. Though there is some corruption, but if anyone is caught, he is given exemplary punishment, unlike India, where majority of our MPs r highly corrupt and there r many criminals amongst them.

Socialism = Preventing Race to the Bottom
Capitalism = Promoting Race to the Top

We need both (either implicitly or indirectly) to build and sustain a great nation.

Ram Sharma that is called brahminism,
Some of our community people want themselves at top without any reason,But they want majority of our people as secondary to them,
You see i am an engineeringgraduate and in very good position,Even after all this many brahmins who are just clerk in Central govt think he is suprior to me,This menatlity is there all over ,So if you don't know english they push you down,if you learned english then also they will they will push you down with some other reason,
Indian mentality is deney other the fair chance,

Dr. Ambedkar Spoiled
by Sonial Ghaneradi on May 15, 2009 12:15 PM  | Hide replies

Dr. Ambedkar spoiled the politics putting Dalit as a caste, and creating reservations.
Only Richest & having political approach, pressure enjoyed the facilities.
Some people converted only to enjoy these facilities & politics using it as Vote bank for curruption .
So BJP should come in rule and the reservation rule to setup on economical level.
It was planned in 13 th Loksabha but Ramvilas Pasvan & Late Arjun oppossed so in 14 th BJP was kept out of Power.
Now it cannot happen BJP will be in POWER

Ambedkar spoiled politics? But whose politics did he spoiled? And Why?
And if they are so small in numbers why do big parties beg for Ambedkar's name?

onial,I agree Ambedkar only put the indian society under divide,But brahmins also should be little generous to accommodate others,Brutal denial is unfair.
