BSP AND NATIONAL POLITICS
by Ramsingh Sachan on May 15, 2009 11:23 AM

TheBSPsupremo has openly declared policy that if she wins enough seats she would certainly argain hard for the top post.Nothing wrong as far as our constitution goes. But the fact remains her's is a singleman party. She should etter concentrate first enlarging her leadership ase and create many small and big leadres of stature who can really advise and guide the party even after she sits in the sidelines.Otherwise people will always be sceptical about the continuity of policies in the long run.She would do well concentrating in UP first to develop the most populous and backward state in the country.Ohter states would automatically lap her party if she succeeds here.Becoming PM shouldn't be the only dream for her.

learn to walk with the tide

The problem with all so called communists and the party is that these people think (and also believe) that they are the only intelligent group of people on this earth. They are Masters in putting hurdles when they see any business/ industrial house doing well by asking there cadres to call for a 'bandh' and or 'strike'. Thanks to them, many small-scale industries are forced to closed down which infact resulted into loss of job for many, financial loss to owners and finally huge financial lossed to nationalized banks through NPA. Now that they have realization that they are politically loosing, Mr. Mitra is trying to be as honest as possible in giving out certain truths. Mr. Karat will go back to Congress with whom they said they cannot work (a few months back)for they know that they will not get funds to support strikes and future elections. Now Karat will say that they are forced to support UPA because they wanted BJP to remain out of power and that only secular partise and people like him should come into power. Communists need to lear to walk with majority people of India and should shed the dark red colour (many call them a dangerous party)a bit only then can they be called 'secular'!

India is being pushed on the brink of fractionalism just by the excuse of "keeping communal BJP away".The small oppurtunistic parties (who can not win more than 50 seat max. on their own out of 540 seats are influencing the fate of National Politics) whose sphere of influence and thoughts are still infant and cofined only to their home states are flaring up much more dangerous fire of "castiesm" and "vote bank politics".
If BJP were to be fundamentalistic or communal or fanatics, they would not have fought last elections on "India Shining" and developmental issues, leaving the Ram temple issue. But the people in India voted for local parties and for local politics (governed by castiesm)in 2004.
So this time sadly BJP "had to" come back to Ram Temple issue...
So "defeating communal BJP" is a frace which lets "Congress", "Left", "RJD", LJP, NCP etc to fight agianst each other in States after enjoying the Power for Five years togather and surely "Keeping communal BJP away" will bring all these parties togather in the lust of Power after 16th May to again.... and we will be relieved that though they are "is not good for India, but they are helpful in defeating communal BJP" !!!!
Hats off to you !!

One reading through his interview and you can see that he is a pure academician. It is a very good thing that our country is not in the hands of these experimental utopian academics. No wonder his party no longer pays heeds to his words

by Raja Ravan on May 15, 2009 11:04 AM  | Hide replies

India public forget everything during election beacuse.
1) Turn out of educated people for Voting was very low.
2. Average Voting for the entire Nation was 42-45 % ( Govtmay give bogus higher fig )
3. Only uneducated people, immegriants form bangladesh and Pak voted every where as they are having Voter Card.
4. Because Govt did not provide Internet voting there for Crores of engineers , Doctors, Techincins, labours working out of their stse could not vote.
5. Castism is big in India.

if u want to do internet voting, u are actually a dump. if u want to vote u can vote. none can stop u. these are merely excuses. internet voting can never happen and should not happen. if u cant walk a few meters to the nearest booth u should leave the country. and if ppl are working out of their state, they should get themselves enrolled in the new area as soon as they go there. if u care for the elections, vote. else stop blaming the policies...

The 42 to 45 % votingis not a small figure compared to the 'sample size' we use for planning and evaluating our biggest development schemes, both internally and externally funded ones.I think we are able to get the eal representatives of the people with this percentage of voting; even lesser percentage is acceptable, if not desirable.Increased voting percentage would make a vey small difference in the outcome of results barring a few marginal cases.moreover, those people voted in large umbers for whom the govt matters most.

Communism focuses on distributive justice alone and not much on increased productivity of labour, land and capital. They must thing in terms of fusing private initiative and incentive with the distributive justice. The human psychology can't be changed beyond the compulsions of animal psychology. The capitalism is a human behaviour and doesn't exist in animals.Communism can't ignore this basic fact of sociology.
