Many educated middle did not vote are going to heavy price in future for upa minority appease ment policy
congress won more seates bcuz of its minority appeasement and protecting illegal immigrants from bangladesh, pakistan and afganistan
when a country PM openly said first of national resource to one particular community and presented communal budjet.
Get rid of all isi agents, jihadi mullas and illegal immigrants from ind soil then how congress tally will come down
In other 5 more yers of upa rule, india will be islamic rebuplic and jihadi R gandhi will be PM
Congress old trick apppease minority on cost of mejority under the tag of secular and minotirism and rule the country
Anti hindu and anti bjp media played big role projecting congress and Gandhi as secular. mindless media twist the statments and fabricate so mnay lies with bogus news
media projected mms and co. as a perfect leaders bjp as anti muslim and communale

Bogus Internet Campaign by BJP.

Bogus Internet Campaign by BJP.
After realising its defeat in print and visual media BJP leader Advani and his toughs has started a very well planned strategic to mislead the youth of India by the help of some jobless IT professionals due to Economic resurgence.
This Team of IT professionals under the guided by top BJP toughs like Sudhanshu Mittal, Jaitley are well paid and assigned for 24 hours duty to illustrate fall projection that BJP is a favourable party of Indian youth by hacking some communities and groups of some social internet networking sites like Orkut, Facebook, and yahoo.
If some one tries to post anything against BJP he will be banned or that tread will be deleted.
Advani’s dream of replicating Obama’s election campaign and becoming PM will never fulfil because of his sham policies.
This fake publicity campaign of BJP will burst like water bubble very soon.

What about 5, 6 and 7
by Hago Kiruttinan on May 15, 2009 12:41 PM

5... growing intolerance of China over Arunachal, 6... the present crisis in Srilanka and Nepal and 7... illicit wealth stashed up by Indians abroad

There is little doubt MMS will handle ANY of these issues well. Is God going to punish the ruling party UPA? We need to wait till tomorrow

Third class electorates deserve third class politicians
by VijaySagar on May 15, 2009 11:16 AM  | Hide replies

If sleazy characters like Mayawati, Sharad Pawar, Mulayam, Laloo, Amar Singh, etc are desperate to get the PM's seat without any agenda, i see a day not far off when dawood ibrahim and ajmal kasab will be given tickets to stand for election and probably vie for the PM's post. Afterall they are as capable as the leaders of today.

Asinine voters
by sandeep das on May 15, 2009 11:01 AM

We keep voting incompetent candidates. Not even the smug TV channel hosts think of vetting out or questioning candidates before they stand for election. They had all the time and resources to do that but they also look for a circus to cover.Maybe the time has come for every candidate to compulsorily attend a course in Public Administration before he even stands for election. I believe many of them are sincere but have no knowledge of anything but how to suck up to their leaders.

This nation's at the mercy of God
by bimal mohapatra on May 14, 2009 10:05 PM

In 1960s,while on a visit to Indian Govt. Central Secretariat, then Prime Minister of USSR, late Krozshen, a hardcore communist and an atheist as all the communists are presumed so told, "We, Communist do not believe in God. But, I do think this nation is run by God." What prompted him to say so is:he found cart load of documents marked confidential laying hither and thither and no body was there to take care or to guard. There can not have a better description of our nation's administration than this. Here, I am illustrating another opinion. After delivering a talk on Globalisation in Hotel Taj Palace in Mumbai in 1992 in the wake up P.V.Narasinharao's liberalisation of Indian Economy, one leading industrialist of Japan while reply to a quarry of a journalist on why India is a backward nation although having all requisites to be a developed one, had told, "Japan is nation of 120 million citizens whereas India is nation of 920 million individuals."Here, nobody bother about this nation's well being although this nation's culture boost 'thought' like,"Man's first and foremost responsibility is to society, second to family and last to himself." But,unfortunately,we and our leadership boost the opposite.Might be this was the reason why Swami Vivekananda after visiting Japan on his way to Chicago in 1893 to deliver his famous talk on universal quality of Hinduism, wrote to his Gurubhais that India had to learn a lot from this young nation.Leadership has a major role.Let's introspect.

Plantation & Water Harvesting
by Man Singh on May 14, 2009 05:59 PM

Its the most Important thing to be thought by each individual citizen of the nation. Politicians/Governments & most beaurocrats have no concern for all this except filling their egos with power and or tummies with money. We, the commoners, have to get up to do whatever possible at our level. Standing at a pan shop, in a restaurent/shop, we must propogate the need of this hour to conserve/ harvest water and to clad our mother earth with green clothes i.e. plantation. In the country side, wherever a strean, nalla is flowing, must be logged/blocked by minor abutments say at every half or one KM so as to creat small banks of water aloing the course of stream/nalla, to enable absorbtion of water in the soil. Plantation in big way will help prevention of soil erosion. These are best understood by the rural mass, especially the growing children. I request all to rise up for the cause, as we all know that the rulers i.e Politicians, beaurocrats Govts. etc. simply feel they are incarnations of God and that its newither their business nor their duty to think and act for such things in any serious manner. Yes ofcourse, posters, banners, advt, in papers with their portraits will solve the problems of public, thats what they think.

Pair pad aur mafi maang

Translation from Hindi - Kiss my foot and beg forgiveness.

The usage of this phrase is very common for treating errant servants in the Land of Darkness (UP Bihar).

Adiga is very correct in the above usage.
