Communists will eventually triumph....
by A B on May 12, 2009 02:44 PM  | Hide replies

The communists have to fight against all the media...be it electronic or print media....The media are hell bent upon defeating the communists....but they will not succeed.....they traitors will be defeated by the people of bengal...and the people of bengal only showed them what they can do for the past 32 years by electing the LF govt. to power....This is a place where Rabindranath Tagore, Netaji, Rammohan, Vidyasagar, Ramkrishna, Vivekananda were born...and their teachings are very much within our hearts...the people of bengal are no fools that they will vote for a freak, mad lady and her party full of HARMADS...

Except perpetuating communal and caste politics, the role of REDs in indian politics is insignificant.

Dear AB, seems that you are Bengali. Tell you what... stop any Bengali youth in Kolkata,or anywhere for that matter & ask them who was Rammohan? or any of the greats you've mentioned in your article. In 90% cases the answers you will get, will want you to hang your head in shame. try it out. By the way you missed out Nazrul Islam, the poet

Yes, you are right.
From 1930 onwards LEFT has stood for Indias poor, in 1942 left did not participate in freedom Movement as they knew was freedom movement was influenced by capitalistic powers.
Similarly we opposed tractors and huge Dams as they have rightly taken away enmployemnt of lot of poor .Also in 1985 we have opposed computer for which we see the results how a great divide has been formed between IT and non IT poor.
I request people to visit Kerla and Bengal whose development has surpassed all India and are envy of lot of other people from other state. It is easy to be slave of America but being like Kerala and Bengal is a difficult job..

Education sector and health sectors are improved in Kerala due to the policies and hard effort of communist leaders who started many schools, colleges, PHC & Hospitals in every town and villages but christians are trying to take up the ownership of what COMMUNIST did in Kerala and Bengal.

Communal card played by REDs is being exposed
by satyarthi on May 12, 2009 02:44 PM  | Hide replies

Over the years this bunch of RED intellectuals including Prabhat Patnaik and Bipin chandra have been talking land reform and all that, explaining RED control over West Bengal.
As a matter of fact, the RED rule was based on similar political arithmatics adopted by casteist Laloo and Mulayam.

It might have shocked you, but it is true.
The RED success in Bengal and Kerala is closely linked to caste and communal politics.

If it is like that, then why kerala is a place where religous harmony and caste harmony exists....

There are many constituency in Kerala where even a person from minority people (based on no of people in constituency) is elected..

Don't say rubbish things....

Now I feel Rediff is also taking geebels idea......." to say a lie 1000 times to make people think its a truth"

Hindoistan

I think India is the only country in the world, where politicians are so afraid of Muslims that they will go to any length even in the disinterest of the Country but to secure Muslims vote, and i think they are right in doing so, bcoz Muslims vote enmasse and they vote against the BJP and in large numbers. Whereas Hindus are not interested in voting. Out of 10 only 4 hindus vote whereas out of 10, 9 muslims goes for voting.

Good observation Sanjay...In India Minority means Muslims. They do not include Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians, Tribals etc. Statistically speaking Muslims are no longer a Minority Community in India & they are growing by leaps & bounds

The situation of Indian politics, Indian media is same as Indian society. Divided, lack of harmony and trust.
Muzlim community of India is in doldrum as always. They consider themselves side lined on almost all occassions no matter what, even though of all the minority communities in India they are the ones who are always at the center stage. The history of Bharat starting from invasion by Muzlims till the partition is full of blood. Till date pakistan and banladesh haven't shed their anti-India and anti-hindu agenda. This along with some unfortunate events in post-independence India have made the minds of muzlim community more confused. I'm not blaming them in any way however its true and situation seems to deteriorate further rather than showing any sign of improvement.
