Jyoti Malhotra should stop this continuous speculation and wait till May 16. Not that Rediff is widely read in Kolkata, but media hype behind TMC-Cong of this kind most likely helps the LF, since it encourages disillusioned LF supporters who otherwise would have stayed home to come forward and vote for the Left. This sounds paradoxical but in the polarized context of West Bengal politics it makes sense.

I call it a media jive. Let them have jive till May 16 after that they all will be silenced. Every body(be it Anandabazar or Rediff) knows left will win in the range of 25-32 seats in west bengal - even then they call it left wipe out or sunset. Media is really to biased.
I remember in 2001 assembly election, everybody was saying left will lose, but no poll gave them less than 150 seats in the house of 298. Finally left won more than 190 seats.

yes thats true.indians use caste for bargaining socio economic status.Its same like religion.And ethnicity abroad.I think we should understand things holistically instead of poor people as castiest.

Sahadevan, you forgot to mention Pinarayi Binami works like Kannur Shopping Plaza and Azhikode Costal Land Deal. You also has to mention the buying of TIRUVEPATHY mill deal where workers has to suicide for your party fund as they are not given a single Paise from the Deal with CPM and Mill Authority. Pinarayi made a back room deal so that he can get his pocketful for his Dream KANNUR PLAZA and AZHIKKAL BEACh toursim deal. Have any shame, no we are for poor, pity.
