It will matter in every year because the increase in the population. Keep trying we can become a majority in near future. Atleast at that time our politions will consider our request (Minority)
After all these are the first 3 states which slapped the Congress party hard starting in the 1956. I loath the Commies, but still a NON CONGRESS movement is dear to my heart. Now is the time to help our Bengali and Malayalee brethren to open their eyes and vote for Patriotic forces in the country. I think we must thank them all that they thre out the Congress party when it was un thinkable.

It's because of BJP, COngress is still ruling India with just 140 seats in parliment. Because of dubious idelogy of Hindutava, the congress opposition parties are not able to get united, in fact they are being forced to support congress against whom they fight the election. BJP should leave their fake ideology and help all the oppositions to be united and pack congress out of India.

Gandhi wanted the same Cong. out and shut latest by 1950. As there was no other party which the British allowed to perform till then. No wonder we have had 55 years of Mis rule by the Congress.

It's incorrect to blame BJP for the success of Congress. BJP is not supporting Cong. And apart from BJP & Cong, other parties are just full of idiots so their coming to power is out of question anyway. In spite of opposing them in state level, commies supported Cong therefore they are responsible for Cong rule at the centre. And out of the 43 seats it won, 34 were in WB alone.
If TDP did well & DMK remained with BJP, then Cong wouldn't have ruled India the last 5 years.

the spirit of the freedom struggle still runs strong in Cong....u mean to say sonia/rahul/MMS/Chidambaram/Pranab don't have good intentions for India...why will sonia brave the insults of all BJP leaders and threat to her life and stay back in India when she can easily go back to her original country and live in peace....how about BJP? u think they had freedom fighters in their party any time...i don't recall Vajpayee or Advani having fought for freedom during their youth.

Dear mainhoon don, please spare the great freedom fighters of India some respect. Let's not insult them by saying that spirit of freedom struggle still runs in Cong. Cong is a family-owned bloodsucking party. As long as Cong is there, India won't be able to become a super power.

That's the beauty of the CPM party - they are never complacent. They take every election as a difficult battle and fare better than expected. CPM is not dependent on the votes of any particular section. They get votes from all sections. In the muslim dominated districts of west bengal like Murshidabad and Malda, Congress does well traditionally. So those who feel CPM wins because of muslim votes - they are wrong. It's against the communist principle to seek vote on the basis of religion or caste.

Nandigram problem was started by your erstwhile leader Laxman sheth. TC capitalised on it. Have you forgotten Keshpur & Nanur? Can you tell us what happened there and why? There is a limit my friend and the common ppl will retaliate sometime and they have to do it under the umbrella of another political party. You commies would term it as terror. Such ppl would be called Harmad. In Bengali there is a saying "apani achori dharma pare-re sekhao".

present congys resemble the earlier freedom fighters only in their caps. the three piece suit wearing benz car wallahs are only maharajas of ill wealth and goons. AAM ADMI for them is a slogan and a publicity material only. Just like Raghul staying for a night ina hut to understand the plight of villagers. Or his father not doing anything about only 10% of funds going to people for whom it was meant. Having amassed wealth now congys wish to be in power at any cost to safe guard the wealth they have earned.
The elections in Bengal would see an anti-climax. TMC Congress would do good in disturbed and/or agrarian areas like Nandigram, Singur etc. But they would loose out in industrial areas like Greater Kolkata, Greater Howrah, Durgapur, Asansol and so on. Other places would maintain their status quo as far as party strongholds are concerned. Left's campaigns were almost as awesome as SRK's promotions for films. A whole TV channel called "24 hrs" was dedicated in slamming opposition 24 hrs for the last 3 months Their posters were slick and thoughtful. The opposition's posters, much less expensive than Left's, were very dull and formulaic. The plethora of lies from the Left was also at its best - like one tv channel carrying out a program where Gujaratis were shown singing in praise of TMC leader. So the dreams of a change by many would remain a mirage again. Finally the most powerful weapon of Left remains their policy of rigging, which starts miles away from the voting booth.
