there certainly is a bengal pipeline. albeit it starts from beijing and ends at sanghai. bengalis are increasingly starting to look like chinks (chinese), yellowish. slant-eyed, and renegades to the nation. some of them have translated rabindrasangeet into chinese that has been a gr8 hit in cuban discos.

Who says so? Then how about the exit polls in West Bengal which suggest the votes polled by the opposition? Sir, please do nor forget that in 2001, the exit poll in West Bengal said that Mamata would be in power, but in reality the left was re-elected with more majority than in 1996!

by silk on May 12, 2009 09:56 PM  | Hide replies

The Left was always using their hoodlums to silence the law abiding majority and there is no other reason why they are having an uninterrupted run of 30 years in Bengal. In Kerala too, they have their party-villages where others are persona non granta. This rowdy culture had to produce it's own by-product, which is Trinamool hooliganism. There is no reason for why the CPM should be complaining.

My best wishes to the left forces. Let the red sun dawn upon the Indian soil and let all sufferrings go. The detractors--trinamool,congress and BJP come together and even the naxals join them. Have ever such combinations been principled. The Trinamool goons have beat up left workers and even an MLA. Trinamool has been resorting to all sorts of dirty activities--booth capturing, killing innocent people all with the help of perverted intellectuals who have become intellectuals only they had no other option. These intellectuals(?) only want the left parties out of power in WB , Kerala and Tripura but do not have any alternative program. What do they have to say about those left sympathisers who have been rendered homeless in Nandigram and Darjeeling? I am surprised that famous people feel sad about death of some and happy about death of others.Mamata has a secret understanding with the kamtapuris, the gorkha separatists and the Jharkhandi separatists. She is trying to divide West Bengal and fulfill an agenda of BJP. So I request that none should vote for the unprincipled Trinamool Congress combine in West Bengal

You can only abuse. But this wont help. Your abuses wont deter the politically conscious masses of West Bengal from taking a right decision.

I suggest you read some history before making such public comments.

Remember that the INA officers joined the Communist movement after independence and are still with the communists. Hope you will now agree that the communists' love for this country is no less than you and your beloved Congress/Trinamool/kamtapuri separatist/Jharkhandi separatist/Gorkha separatist combine?

Indian communists are trying to protect China's interest by opposing the Indo-US nuclear deal. Communists are traitors of the highest order. Why are they silent when China claims "Arunachal is an integral part of China" or when China sets up nuclear power plants in Pakistan. If India is trying to get nuclear energy from US they oppose because it hurts China's interest. They are shameless antinationals and should be kicked out not only from Bengal but also from the whole country. And remember the left parties still claim that India attacked China in the sixties during the Indo-China war. Great, Long live Communism, Long live China….
They called Netaji : Tojo's dog (Tojo was Jap PM during WWII).
Communists have opposed computerization (Cal. Univ. was shut down for 3 days by SFI in early seventies), ruined the careers of at least 75 lakh students (English was out for 15 years from WBengal Board syllabus, multiplied by avg. no. of students appearing at the board exam every year), also they burned 11 trams in order protest a fare rise of I paisa in the sixties. Their iconic leader Jyoti Basu said in a speech (before becoming the CM) that if we come to power we will take out the AC machines from Writer’s building, and we all know till this date what kind of lavish lifestyle this hypocrite is living…
Have anyone ever talked to any Chinese guy? If someone can, then ask him/her about Tienanmen Square, most of them don’t even know what happened exactly, this is the true face of comm

What is wrong then? These Communists do not care a moment while severely interferring in the progress of other states but when it come for WB, their policies change. People of West Bengal must realise that they can not live in segregation beyond an Indian statehood, that is to be protected by Communists. After all what is the status of thei Left Front? Does it out shine in number than many other parties? Does it represent a sample of India? No. This is as regional as Mayawati and Mulayam's. When you look at the angel of West Bengal only, you must be ready to face the consequence that the whole of India believes that Communists are a vanquished party with no ethics and morals of democratic standard, and they are only capable of black-mailing.

The left may not seem to be a sample of the indian electorate but they have always made efforts to highlight sufferrings of common/toiling masses.I dont understand your comment on interference in progress of other states. Communists have never halted progress in fact communists have always welcomed progress. However, it seems that you have misunderstood the communists' movements and efforts to secure the rights of the toiling masses. What numbers are you talking about? Let there be a system of proportionate representation and then you will see what is "sample".And for all you know the communists are not vanquished they are just emerging. The communists take lessons from history and past mistakes which your great Congress/TMC/BJP et al never do.talking about morals/ethics please dont compare incomparables---the communists are always placed on a higher platform. However, people like you with good knowledge of english language and little or no knowledge about history and society will continiously bleet which will be amplified by unprincipled leaders(?) like Mamata and their bandwagon

"in previous elections it was the cpim hoodlums who did scientific rigging"-----are you writing a fable? The CPIM has always depended on the peoples' mandate. The fact is that the Congress which had the duty of holding the flag of democracy high has always failed and the media being fed by the Big landlord and industrialists(repreesnted by congress earlier and now jointly by Congress, TMC and BJP) have always made hue and cry about CPIM and scientific rigging. The congress and TMC cannot stay out of power because their support base is actually depenent upon money and state power. That is why this hullaballoo about CPIMs scientific rigging.
If people of WB reject the policies of CPIM then CPIM shall definitely accept the same with humility and correct itself for their objective is not to grab power but to change the darkened lives of the struggling masses into sunshine.

Shame, Shame on JD(s) Gowda and son
by redfmsg on May 12, 2009 09:22 PM

Third front is broken already. Just one hour ago, a shameless JD(s) H.D.Kumaraswamy (the obedient son) went to meet Congress Sonia Gandhi and other Cong leaders to discuss about, whatelse at this time, allying with Congress. He was covering his face with hands all the time when entering Sonia's residence in a Karnataka registration car. Shame, shame, shame on you Deve Gowda and H.D.Kumaraswamy for trying to fool people all the time. Common man is smarter than both of you Appa and Maka. Where is your third front now that you and others launched with aplomb at Tumkur, Karnataka in April for fighting your rivals Congress and BJP?

People know that you and your Appa-Makkala party JD(s) will not last after May 16th 2009. Farming is a better job than politics, right?
