Before the birth of Prabaharan Tamils were killed.In Srilanka Tamils are not appointed in army since independance.If Tamils asked for jobs they were refused. So many Gandhian leaders were killed before the birth of LTTE. Because of Sinhalas LTTE took the weapons.IPKF's then Commander Dipinder Sing was ordered to kill Prabaharan but he refused to do so and informed this to Prabaharan.Tamil ladies are raped &killed evan children below 5 yrs are killed. LTTE's don't touch Sinhala girls They treat Sinhala war prisoners with humanity.If you are in the position of prabaharan what will you do?.He take the ways of NETHAJI.

many tamilains want the same story to happen in lanka issue. But this situation is entirely diferent.
In 1971,the bangladesh (called east pakistan that time) 1) had internal war like condition. 2)most important, the refugrees started floding in India.. 3) Very very important..the east pakistan army started fighting/war with india.
In lanka case, point 1& 2 to certain extent are true. But what is making difference is the third point..Till date, there is no single case reported about the war between Indian and lankan army.
I agree, tamilians in lanka are in a sorry state..but there is no way we can help them. Now about politicians. the blind man and hippo are talking about tamil cause. Both of them have enjoyed everything ( just ask how much money they made using 3G spectrum bid)..Last 5 yrs, they kept mum but sice the election are due, the they atre doing drama and showing crocodile tears

reformer, i ask you this. As a Jaffna Tamil, is it bad for me to wish the worst calamity on India for what is happening in sri lanka. 1000s of indian war head fall on my people every day. 1200 and counting in one night. I wish 1000s of Mumbai events on India. I really do. Is it wrong of me to wish that islamic militancy extends in India like never before?

Kumar, you are a jafna tamil. Violence is in your blood. You are facing this because of your fault. When kilinochchi vas vacated by LTTE they forced the civilians to accompany them. Civilians expected- TRUSTED- that LTTE will safeguard them. Finally LTTE used them as their shield. You should have known that LTTE is no match for firepower of Sri lanka, India, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, China and US put together. Now you suffer and blame India. Pls dont come to an Indian site and blame india. Go to your country and do something wothwhile to save and help the innocents. I know now Amma is big for you. We will see that in two weeks time.
Once reluctant Sonia has matured as a great politician and has even surpassed all the Indian origin politicians. Especially in handling the Srilakan Tamil issue, she showed an immaculate talent. In one hand taking revenge for the killing of her husband by encouraging the Rajapakse government to wipe out the Tamils by shelling blindly and killing thousands of innocent tamils and on the other hand sending her son to Tamilnadu and asking him to speak in favour of Srilankan Tamils. What a great politics she is playing? It is really great and other Indian origin politician should learn from this Italian origing female. NOW YOU SHOWED THE TRUE COLOUR OF WHAT YOU ARE MADAM.
Manmohan is right partly because India cannot send its army to fight against Srilankan army and create a separate Ealam, neither India cannot support the cause of support the separate Tamil Ealam as a responsible country but India can mediate with Srilankan government and get equal rights to the Srilankan tamils being biggest democracy and even as the srilankan government to safeguard the innocent civilian from getting killed every day and Indian government cannot shrek off its responsiblity of restoring peace in the island nation. If India is not corned about what is happening in the neighbouring country, then it will never become a No.1 in the world. Srilankan Tamils' problem was partly created by India and India owes every resposibility to resolve it to the good cause of the innocent people. All Srilankan Tamils are either the migrants or oborigins of the islan nation which was a part of India and therefore, the Srilanakan Tamils are not aliens. When you have right to safegaurd the American Indian living in USA, when you have the right to safegaurd the British Indian living in Uk, why not Srilanakan Tamils?. Is it because they are Tamils, not Indians? If some Hindi speaking ethnic group faces this type of situation, then surely you will not say this and you will not be irresponsible like this. Rescue workers within the Mullaiththeevu Safety Zone have counted more than 1200 bodies after the large scale slaughter Saturday night and Sunday morning by the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) with the use of cluster ammunition, multi-barrel rocket launchers and cannons, sources from Vanni said. The workers fear that there may be additional bodies yet to be uncovered, and the numbers killed will likely rise. Rescue workers also said several hundreds were very seriously injured, and the critical shortage of medicine at the makeshift hospital will lead to many more deaths.
The casualties and the seriously injured include many elderly, women and children.
The bombing which subsided until noon Sunday increased after 12:00 noon when Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) fighter jets carried out two bombing raids at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, sources from inside the safety zone said.
Rescue workers said the counting of the dead is continuing and the actual number killed in the worst-ever man inflicted carnage by Sri Lanka state will not be known for a few days.
The large scale slaughter is believed to be a result of India prodding Colombo to finish the war before the change of government, political circles in Colombo said adding that the 'war on terror' has appeared to have been translated into 'war on civilians' in the time of Obama Administration.
