Yes some changes can be amended specifically for Post Poll alliances

1. There should be a maximum limit on the number of parties that can for an alliance.

2. Before allowing post poll alliance, both the parties manifesto should be compared and there should be atleast 80% similarity.

3. There should be some rule, where the common mass can call back their representative, if he/she doesn't perform at center.

Guys Plz add other points.

Its so simple..
who ever wins major seats must be given opportunity to form the government.. irrespective of the numbers met.
and there must be only three parties contesting th elections..
there should not be any blame game in election campains.. they should highlight on the achievements or party manifesto..

the election compulsory only after 5 years/ else its president rule..which saves the lot of money.

And revision of constitution every 10 yaers in accordance with time.. revision includes progressive methods and efforts of the country and not the slary increament to MPs/MLAs.

It is true that our constitution needs to be amended to the changed political scenario. But it must be supported by 2/3 majoirty in the parliament. Moreover our leaders are not ready to reform the system

What is the use who wins.. every one sails in thesame boat. Any how we are not benefited untill the our constitution is revised and you know that the constitution was written 60 years back and world is changing every single day..
When they had written the constitution.. they might have not even imagined about the world with computers and mobiles..
Also with these political parties .. we may continue with the same constitution except increasing the salaries of MLA/MPs for next 100 Years..So the message here is clear " if you want to improve and change yourlife and lifestyle.. get out of INDIA for better leaving and prosperity.. within your lifespan as it is too short" for any thing to change except few films and immediate josh on the issues!!

we Indians should understand is from above article: -

The parties that fight each other at election time and go to people with different manifestos, but in their lust for power join each other after the election are clearly cheating the people.

We have got enough performers
by abboral boral on May 08, 2009 09:39 AM  | Hide replies

Country is in a hurry to develop faster than before as last 60 years we have developed in very slow space due to shortage of money and dependance on G-20 countries .At present we are free to start developing process with huge ammount of money in hand (thanks to economic liberisation by late PM PVN and Dr.MMS in 1991 backed by Atalji ) .No Gov can effort to neglect Rural India development any more as Rural India with 70% population never been tried to develop by any Gov last 60 years .We have plenty of performing Leaders like Modi,Dr MMS,LKA,Raman Singh,Shivraj Chouhan,Buddhadev Bhatterjee,Chandrababu Naidu,Ramadoss,Navin Patnaik,Nitish Kumar available at present who have no personal goal rather Country as whole in their mind .All these question put me in believe that India will develop with in 5 years

There will be no more so called developed countries ,G20 ,G-8 as they will vanishes to blue .Days are not far when we will see and I am forcasting that with in 5 years time India will help financially to USA and other developed countries as India and Indians are already dominating all kind of reserch ,R&D ,Nasa ,IT ,Hotel business there .So Brains are already supplied to all these countries and now remains Finance .IF our nabouring countries joined together with India instead of anti Indian activities then I am sure India and our nabouring countries including Pakistan are enough to stimulus world economic activities .People of our SAFF countries should understand and give full hearted cooperations to India for their own safety against all kind of recession.I dont know why our SAFF countries are not together and their Leaders should understand that they will never get any Financial help from these so called hoax developed world with in 5 years due to 80% debt economy in those countries

I dont believe your theory of escaping from doing a right thing .You people are called Bhagure and you cannot win in your life .India is a storey of two shores .People see bright light on the other shore when it is actually misery .One shore is shining with computer ,mobile and the other shore is suffering from odds .This shore is called Rural India where plenty of opportunities available to shine in your life .I advise you to go to rural India and start your own small business in IT,Health,Education, housing ,Rural tourism ,SMEs and I am sure you will shine along with rural populations .

US Presidents are according to the times......
by Cedric Vaz on May 08, 2009 09:35 AM

Even in the US, the President is a puppet "put at the top" by white political masters. A black man is their President today because of the current changed US and global scenario, so Obama suits them best. Tomorrow they (white political masters) may want a woman, Hispanic or Indian American...... to suit their purpose and thus it will surely happen!

Yes and No - ayes and nays in our Sacred Constitution
by sagar ganguli on May 08, 2009 09:23 AM  | Hide replies

The Indian constitution is the Holi Cow. It cannot be killed or destroyed. All possibilities have been built into it. If the 1st paragraph of any article says yes , the immediately 2nd one says no. It has given us a paradise of roses but it has also withdrawn it from the citizens. Exanples are galore. I list some: Citizens' rights were withdrawn during the Emergency. Any citizen can be shoved behind bars like the recent NSA slapped on Varun Gandhi. Indian State is both unitary and federal. Anybody can become PM and rule us showing his thumb at democracy. A Speaker can remain Speaker after ceasing to be an MP because when expelled he ceases to be the member of his party and therefore forefeits his membership from Parilament. The List ccan be large. Our Sacrosanct Constitution is a chimera and a wonder of the world. One of ex-Presidents beccame so fed up and disgusted that he wanted this Holi Secular Scriptures to be scrapped.

by kashif baig on May 08, 2009 09:15 AM

Thank you Mr. Kashyap for these points. I think the EC should consider showing such interviews before the elections so that the voters will have a better understanding of the electoral process & the aftermath of the election results before they decide which party/ alliance to support
