Indians living in Bengal (known as Bengalis) are known for their belief in equality. That particular part of our country never let caste and religious difference to take place in the issue list in politics.
Those people never said anything but ‘Jai Hind’.
Rather ‘Jai Bangla’ is synonym of an eye infection (conjunctivitis) in local colloquial. Be’coz people leaving there know that regionalism is the biggest enemy of our country.
Left is nothing but deep rooted political culture in the every corner of a Bengali’s day to day life. A term has been coined by Mamtaji in the last election which has correctly defines the fact and that’s ‘Scientific rigging’. I experienced that even if you are against Left philosophy and want to vote the opposition, people won’t come out openly and continue to pretend as supporters of Left. Very strange but that’s the truth. However, when you try to measure their political knowledge, they are astonishing. This is the phenomenon that prevails in Bengal and I think this will change but will take no sooner than a few years.

I think Subhas Ch. Bose was from a place called Oriya Bazar, in Cuttack Town, ODISSA. So I think he was a ODIYA and having Bangali Culture.

The communists have ruined bengal and its 'Poor'(Pun Intended)bengalis with their blindfolded rule. Now, if after what Mamata did in singrur, if bengalis vote for her it will also be another black day for Bengal. Bengal needs someone like Narendra Modi or Shiela Dixit to make it prosperous like many other states of the country. It will also do a world of good to the people of bengal if they erase the phrase ' Right to stop work(Strike)' is removed from their dictionary. All these years it has not got you anything and you are only poorer for it. Look at Bengalis outside Bengal. They are dynamic,resourceful, successful and hardworking. More than that look at within Bengal, the only successful businessmen are Marwadi's, punjabi's etc. Come on Bengali's look beyond the comforts of your home and be a proud bengali.

Bengalis are vry good in outside states bcoz then they are not controlled by CPIM Cadres.In bengal society,movement is controlled by this cadres...most of them are little educated goons and thugs

The BJP was earlier the BJS or Jan Sangh the founder of which was Dr. Shymaprasad Mukherji from Bengal.Thanks to the Advani & Vajpayee duo they have ki77ed the party in West Bengal by sidelining all the stalwarts of the party & replacing them with worthle$$ outsiders as also deliberately tying up the future of the Party to the pallu of an undependable Mamata Banerji for which Tapan Sikdar was thrown out of the party for opposing her tooth & nail. The last time that Tapan won from Dum Dum was due to the efforts of Subhas Chakravorty who is against Amitava Nandi. If Tapan has the blessings of Subhas this time also he may cause havoc. The CPI(M)has a doctrine of ensuring the victory of any opposition party candidate in West Bengal if they feel that this party will come to power in the centre so that this MP after becoming a Minister remains their stooge in the Central govt. & looks after their interests on a daily basis like Pranab Mukherji now. That is how & why Tapan won the last time & became Union Minister & took care of Chandan Bose's (Jyoti's son)problems as Mamata was after him. Tapan ensured that Chandan was not harassed in gratitude to Subhas who is Jyoti's greatest minion. It is left entirely to the politically conscious Bengalis to ensure that the BJP does very well in the State as it is the one party which is different from the rest of the psudo-siculars ruining Bengal since decades including Bangladeshi infiltration.
Victory of Jaswant Singh is certain from day one. The people of Gorkhaland were with him and they will ensure his victory.
Why Gorkhaland is with them? Jaswant Singh has assured that he will ensure that Darjeeling and other adjoining areas are separated from Bengal and a new state is created.
What a compromise has been made by BJP. They are creating a state of Gorkhaland on the border of China. imagine what will happen in next couple of decades. Imagine how China managed a coup in Nepal.
This is the character of BJP that for one parliament seat they can make any promise and can go to any length.
While BJP leaders and supporter will feel very happy i feel saddened at their selfish motive.

Just like the Congress/NC/PDP and other parties ensure that the Kashmiri Pandits do not return to the Kashmir valley, so that their seat is assured, right? There are so many instances, like the Congress promised Telangana in AP last time to corner all those seats. You are a clown, why are Gorkha's asking for a separate state in the first place? Answer that first.

Kolkata is way behind Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Banglore. In coming years it will be lagging behind Ahmedabad, Indore, Bhopal, Surat, Kochi and other tier II cities.
