Golden Bengal
by arindam moulick on May 06, 2009 05:01 PM

The economic uncertainty (in West Bengal) we are currently facing is kind of dumping all of us into a sea of miserable and most overpowering responsibilities, but the shame and blame will sure come on those very breed of people who deliberately misled the world with their unkind avarice and misplaced judgment.

Besides, anyone who is not aware and is generally obstinate about the current economic fiasco should not be allowed to function or serve. They should resign now and make way for aspiring others who will hold atop India’s archetypal “shining anthem” above personal goals because they can keep a committed ear to listen to the collective voice of the masses.

The time is now for each and every elected member to think of nothing more than how to revive or stimulate the economy not for short-term but long-term prospects, so that this kind of sickening uncertainty never occurs or happens. Recession has affected IT pretty badly, but what are we to do now? Sit it out? Or shall we dance?

For change, we believe in Bengal now!
by arindam moulick on May 06, 2009 04:54 PM

I pledge for a drastic change in West Bengal. Now is the time for a new wave of thinking that should germinate to essentially drive us onto a higher realm of living and understanding.

The Halcyon order of today’s era is ushering us to move ahead with times and off the beaten track and help find a paradigm for change. This is going to be our escape hatch to better a life.

Therefore, in these turbulent times, a possible new beginning should have to emerge out of all the mayhem of existential human problems. But of course, it’s time to start acting our age, in that sense of the word. Our collective will and ability and a clear thought-process will show us the way forward and grant us a fresh lease of life. I want to live a life freed from the shackles of my country’s chronic casteism, meaningless religious atrocities, terrorism of all hues, and from all political moral brigades.

I hope West Bengal finds a great government. Though the present Chief Minister of WB Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee is a great man, but his party men are constantly pulling all his ambitious plans for Bengal into a tangled mess! I aslo hope he extricates himself soon and goes ahead full blast with his economic plans. Mr. Bhattacharjee, please let all IT companies set up shop in Kolkata. At least IT professionals will find jobs here itself and not really go out of the state to Bangalore or Hyderabad looking out for jobs.

Due to the misrule of commies w.b has lost its pride. Once it was said... "what bengal thinks today , india thinks tomorrow". but now a days the slogan is " what india thinks today , bengal is failed to realise the meaning of the thinking."

Money value as measure of Devlopment
by Parichay on May 06, 2009 04:30 PM  | Hide replies

Below is some comparison:

Mumbai Kolkata
2bhk flat(avg) : 25-30 lakh 8-15 lakh
veg thali: Rs.35-65/- Rs.10-15/-
non-veg: Rs.55-75/- Rs.18-30/-

From these comparison of price of our two basic need we can easily conclude that money value in Bengal is the much better.

The biggest problem of Indian economy is our decreasing money value.
Central Govt. and most of the states have sold the major portion of economy to private house...that is glamourizing some cities but resulting in a economy which is not in the control of Govt.....if things are not in Govt. control why to vote.

China is much stronger economy than us and 50% of economy there is Govt. owned (100% of agriculture is Govt. owned).
India - 15% of economy is Govt. owned (0% of agriculture is Govt. owned).

Intellegents will like to learn even from enemy.

Anyhow in last five year our political class shows a 100%-9000% increase in their property (see Today's TOI).

This much money they are collecting by selling our own thing in cheaper rate to the business house...like selling land worth of 100 croror in 10 croror taking 10 croror bribe.....still we are being blind....going to vote!!!

Our Govt. and media joint handedly try to potray anly the brighter side....we are very intellegently insulated from the true picture of India by central and state Govts with the help of media....when we see it in foreign movie.

good point.....but tell me which state you know having better money value than WB in India.
I guess we will accept that decreasing money value is one of our biggest problem.....and that results into inflation.

The question is what is the measure of development?

Being a communist state driven by central defined Capitalist rule of business is not easy and that is the reason of our suffering.

When BuddhaDeb is trying to do some good work Mamta supported by Congress disrupting every effort.

Congress was a dirty party even before the independence .... tell me why Mukherjee commision's report about Netaji's death mystory is suppressed....tell me why we still don't know(officially) the mystory of Sikh killing in Delhi and why we don't know what actually happened in Boforce case....Congess has to answer these.

Though I don't believe blame game...the only thing I want to say let Budhdha Dev to implement his plan.

Most importantly tell me how in last five year our political class shows a 100%-9000% increase in their property (see Today's TOI)?

Indians living in Bengal (known as Bengalis) are known for their belief in equality.
That particular part of our country never let caste and religious difference to take place in the issue list in politics.

Those people never said anything but ‘Jai Hind’.

Rather ‘Jai Bangla’ is synonym of an eye infection (conjunctivitis) in local colloquial.
Be’coz people leaving there know that regionalism is the biggest enemy of our country.

Don't speak rubbish. BJP has removed hundreds and thousands of prabashi Bengalees from their jobs. BJP activists have been destroying their businesses and dwelling from time to time without any valid reason. There is a hidden agenda amongst all BJP activists that their main targets are muslims and Bangalee hindus who came during partition time. Why you are making us fool for vote. To win the seat in Delhi and rule on us ? As far as Shyama Prasad Mukharjee is concerned, RSS has used his name and photo to run their all notorious activities. Actually he was killed by RSS acivists and Nehru. They also finished Gandhi and Netajee. Who you make fool ? Me ? You have to take atleast thousands of birth for that.

Be it Shyama Prasad Mukharjee or Gandhi, their fate was written by Cha Cha Nehru and his secret agents ( RSS ). As far as BJP is concerned, I would rather say to all Bengalees that You may believe in snake but beware of RSS and BJP.
