This so called Indian middle class people are confusing between Politicians and BUEAROCRATs. They think for a person to become a minister, he has to know English well, dress like westerner, talk about business and international issues only, talk in good english in front of media. If these are the only criteria for a person to become a minister, then only BUEAROCRATs can run the country, we don’t need any politicians. We have already seen Lallu is the most successful minister in last cabinet. He has performed better than talkative ministers like Chidambaram (made a mess of finance). Similarly Nitish Kumar, Narendra Modi (though his party’s policies are dubious) and our own Mayawati are running their respective govts better than their predecessors.

I am not against Mayawathi's wish of being a PM or not against her well wishers. For a person to become a PM, must has achieved something, which in turn improved the quality of life for the people of the state.
Can you please explain in few words what good she has done for the state of UP?
Is she a decision maker?
If at all anything she has done good why the state of UP is trailing behind development?

The rise of Mayawati in Indian politics has filled so called dalits, not only of U.P. but whole India, with self-esteem. And mind it without self-esteem no one can progress.

Why UP is trailing? I am not ready to blame it on the people of UP. They are hard workers, they will do a better job like any other Indian. It is the responsibility of politicians to bring business into the state. If she cannot do it for the state of UP. How can she achieve things for the Country?

Who has ruled UP since Independence? Was it Mayawati? To take UP on the path of development, she require time, and this is the first time she is having absolute majority. For past you cannot blame her. For that parties like Congress, BJP, SP are responsible.

BSP - Prediction 60 Seats BJP with NDA cannot get more than 200, and UPA cannot get more than 120. Check out for sure on May 16th
In UP people are fed up with Maya, Mulayam & Amar Singh. People are also fed up with Central Govt. and blaming Congress govt. for price rise of daily need items, job loss, unemployment., farmers suicide etc. People has now started remembering NDA rule. In the last by-election of assembly Maya lost due to low percentage of voting and Upper cast voters /Brahmins stayed indoor and not come to vote. Now the upper caste voters who voted for BSP are drifting away from BSP and this LS election they are going to vote for BJP. Thakur vote bank is also shifting to BJP. Congress is only in few gandhi family seats. Wind has already started in UP in favour of BJP and its alliance with Ajit Singh Lokdal also help BJP to get more kissan vote and more seats. Middle class and salaried class are happy with the proposal of BJP to exempt upto 3.00 lakh from Income Tax and other welfare measures declared in the Manifesto of BJP. Moreover price rise of daily need items/food items & Varun Gandhi episode would also have impact in the voting . It will be a 3 way neck and neck fight between BJP, SP and BSP in U.P this time with BJP having an upper-hand. BJP plus RLD may win more that 30 LS in UP with SP and BSP around 20 seats each and Congress 5 to 6 seats. This is the ground situation in UP now.

Really hats off to maya if she becomes India's PM, she will meet her selfish goal of becoming the only dalit PM in the history. But the real cause of dalits will still not be met.her here we have one more person fooling with people sentiments to achieve his/her selfish,and self ambitious goal sidelining the main cause

How many tickets Mayawati has given to dalits to contest the elections from her very own BSP party, Does she have reservations for dalits in her own party ????? Charity begins at home, This will prove how much she cares about in upbringing the dalits.
