Do U know recent take over of Chidambaram temple by non-hindus
by Lopesh S on May 03, 2009 03:29 PM  | Hide replies

No Media or secular party even mentioned it anywhere
The recent Take over of Chidambaram temple by non-hindus and aestheists on Tamilnadu shocks our conscience. In many ways the ‘dravadian (by logical corollary ‘non indian’) heavily campaign against Hinduism and Hindu Symbols bears resemblance to the actions of the Taliban against non-islamic symbols (Bamiyan Buddha statues) in Afghanistan. Under international outcry even the Talibans halted their destruction of the statues, but in India the same set of politicians are now keeping quite.
Needless to say every attack on Hinduism and a section of the Hindu society (dubiously called as ‘upper caste’) is packaged as social justice! Sp great is the fear of ‘caste, votebanks, that even parties professing support fo Hindutva are refusing to consider the just and fair rights of the Unreserved Class Hindus. Things have gone so far that none of them are even willing to consider the Unreserved Class Hindus as Citizens

Religion is a faith and in the case of India it is the bed rock on which the geographical and linguistic diversity are unified. It is in fact the religion that teaches the first lessons in ethics and character building. Individuals carry those values all their lives. There is no point is differentiating between one religion to another at the Foundation level. As for the basics all religions preach ethical values. After a stage the logic and platform are elevated. And it is for the sincere intellectual who attains maturity to rationalize the differences in the principles of each religion. Secularism, in the present day context is non religionism and is close to atheism. It is used only as a tool to appease minorities. Such system by itself breeds ill culture. Such practice is catastrophical particularly to a country like India, where people from several religions co habit. All political parties are sudo secular and in fact breed enmity among religions.

Hinduism is secularism. Hinduism preaches well being of all religions and all creeds. It does not preach conversions and is the only faith that allows freedom of religion and expression of thought.

BJP should propagate on the principle that Hinduism is secularism and that when it comes to power there will be true secularism. Every one will be facilitated to practice their own religion. That is the only way peace can prevail

In simple words Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life to be followed by who ever is living in Hindustan that is India.

Mambakkam Subramanian
Brahmins & Muslims Tactical Voting
by Mambakkam Subramanian on May 03, 2009 03:23 PM

The whole article was very interesting. But the learrned professor overlooks one basic thing. It is more than62 years since independence and this Reservation raj started.
But even today the real SC /ST and the Muslim poor are still where they were in 1947 if not there position has become still worse and untenable that that date. Why? Even with all the reservations and the pro-minority pro-muslim Congress in power for most of these sixtytwo years, nothing has been done to bring them into the mainstream of national politics and development. With a view to retaining them as a Vote Bank these politicians have created an exclusive zone for these people and they have been kept marginalised both in education and employment. Bring them to secular education and force them to keep their religion at home. his is not just for Muslims, it is for all Indian citizens. The country can prosper and these people can come up in life only when the total Indian Identity is accepted and these types of exclusivities are thrown ovewrboard. The moment some one talks about secular education and common civil code these opportunist politicians will brand them with the saffron brand. The Muslims should come out of the clutches of these politicians and develope their own leasdership and show the way out to the politicians. But that is going to be next to impossible in the atmosphere of suspicions and hatred created by these vote bank politicians.

Bharat, don't argue with kaf1rs. A11ah has sealed the hearts of non-believers. Ask them to search for X-Rated Paradise of 1slam to know what all have been kept ready in the Paradise by the most merciful creator.

And please ask Mr. Waheed its hindus(bramihns) only who kill people allover the world. Please someone try to make mr. So we are bound to do tactical voting(If we did, as per my knowledge bramihans have no common agreement on candidates).

Why do Bramins hate Thamil as a language.
They don't appreciate the richness of the language, the literature, the hymns, songs.

sorry my friend you got it wrong. I am a brahmin, I am hindi speaking north indian and if anything I love tamil not because I understand it but because I have observed the culture and it has much to admire. i wish i could read tmil literature. I do see tamil movies when I get a chance. remember seeing one in which kamal hasan is a classical dancer. it is one of the best movies i have ever seen . I saw it in tamil and as i do not know the language i must have missed a lot what came thru was powerful enough.
I think it is sad that people who have not been exposed to each others culture assume dislike and hatred. it is sad and tragic as loss is all theirs
A Kashayp
