What is there to support a party which did not criticise China when it attacked India? Even now it does not say one way when the chinese intrude into Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh.China is occupying part of Kashmir, illegally donated by Pakistan. It does not speak one word against China.

Why doesn't anyone blame the UPA for not taking action against the 26/11 @ Bombay, that also in broad day light for more than 3 days innocent people got killed.

Jyoti Basu was actually a secret agent of Nehru during partition time and basically he is not a real Bengali. It should be known to all that the left shall get fewer swars in the Lok Sabha Election in 2009 compared to 2004. However, it should also be known to all that India has been able to survive the global meltdown only because of the Left's consistent opposition to the UPA-government's plans for total liberalisation of economy. Just think - if the Pension and PF Funds would have gone to the Capital market (as proposed by the UPA govt and opposed by the left), then many Indians would have lost their life's savings. Similarly, the Indian banks have been able to survive, thanks to the Left's opposition to the idea of 100% FDI. It's a pity that some people do not understand these things.
Moreover, the TMC of Mamata Banerjee have published their manifesto in which they have said the same things as the Left, and yet they have allied with the Congress!! Do we not call it blatant opportunism?
