The UPA allies are certain to comeback to Congress. However, it remains to be seen whether it will be Cong. led govt. or Congress supported govt. That will depend upon performance of Cong. On the other hand, NDA govt. with BJP looks difficult due to ‘allies’ shortage but things can change. In the worst scenario for the national parties, the CONG BJP are expected to get a total of 270 seats(each 135 plus or minus) which is half way mark. Accordingly the balance 270 seats will not be enough for any third or fourth front to form a govt. without support of either Cong or BJP because parties like RJD-JD(U), SP-BSP, DMK-ADMK and LEFT-TMC cannot co-exist in the same formation. In case either Cong. Or BJP do even better, the non-BJP or non-Cong. govt. is impossible. Further, between Cong. & BJP, which will be the largest party is difficult to say at present Perhaps, it will depend upon the U.P. scenario for BJP where it may succeed in doubling its seats due to polarisation, a la-Varun modus operandi. BJP may also gain in MP, Gujrat and C'garh due to same reason but it may end up loser in Orissa,Bihar, Rajasthan & K'nataka. On the other hand Congress gains can be in Kerala, K’nataka, Bengal,Bihar,Rajasthan, Punjab etc. Although in TN Congress is certain to lose but it may not affect UPA because if DMK loses the others may replace them.

The idea of UPA Coalition was faulty. The largest party had less than 50% of the alliance seats. Add to this the outside help from the Left. The Left will never join a coalition but will always support from outside. This gives them immense power to blackmail without any responsibility. The only ideology of this motley crowd wasanti BJPism. This is an ideology that will not last long. In the NDA alliance, BJP had 180 seats which was about 60% of the total with no one supporting from outside. In UPA each partner was fighting the Congress in their respective states. Such an alliance cannot last not now but in future also. This is exactly what happened. With so called stalwarts like Manmohan, Chidambaram etc the UPA could do nothing in the economic friend, thanks to the Left. The Congress getting into such a desperate alliance after the polls will also end in fiasco. On the other hand the NDA alliance just does not seem to have the numbers and even if they do well the "secularists" will not join them. Under the circumstances, the best that can happen for the nation is for BJP and Congress to join together after the polls. This will provide a stable govt and will marginalise the regional parties. In fact ideologically there is little difference between the Congress and BJP except "secularism" which in any case is a farce.

no way. cong.-bjp combine will be amoral and opportunistic. it will not work also.best formation will be either a cong or bjp led alliance.any other type of alliance will not be stable.
It is a good lesson for the political broker sonia. National party was torn to the small regional party level. at least other congress man will realise and save congress from the hands of sonia. Congress should go alone all over country, to day if they contest they should have got sympathy vote. instead sonia freindship with all theives, murderers,money launders, anti social elements.
The axis which is the most likely to be invited to form a government.
It is most likely that that dhingloo occupying the Rashtrapati Bhavan would favour the Italian woman in return of the latter's Everest favour in installing the former into the Bhavan.

you need to see the indian position at that time. India was not powerful country to defiance. later he initiated nuclear during 60's. During world war, many strong country like german, japan lost to US, UK. Even China lost to japan.

May be you are tiger / wearing clothes of tiger. But, 1 thing remember that NCP, SHIVSENA & CONGRESS will manipulate elections, but regarding BJP it is ultimately 0 numbers from MAHARASHTRA. The place of BJP is already taken by MNS. So, BJP is going to loose elections in MAHARASHTRA. This is the picture at this time.
