Over all, it is a very good analysis of the presentsituation exposing the opportunism of the various parties!! Except in Tamil Nadu, Congress has never regained its strength post-Kamaraj and the factionism being so strong, there is no wonder about the results of PMK referendu. But this scenario may not be true of other regions!!!
Congress party is the root cause of bad political system in India.
When India achieved Independence 80% of indians were patriotic and ready to sacrifice their lifes for nations but once Nehru became prime Minister he played political games:
Minority Appeasement and Vote bank politics were initiated by Nehru. Caste based policies were introduce just to make sure that Congress gets electoral seats.
These policies made sure that no political party can beat congress without resorting to similar game plans of DIVIDE and RULE.
Example in UP - BSP and SP had to play the same Caste and Religion card played by congress to make a mark for itself.
Another political game played by Congress is installing Nehru, Indira and Rajiv Gandhi's statues every part of India (not sure if people really liked it or not) -- This is just to build vote banks.
I pity Indians for failing to understand the root cause of political Mess that Congress has created.
-- Can any political Party survive without resorting to same tactics that congress played - that is DIVIDING the Society based on Language, Caste, Religion, Region etc?

BJP is doing it...What does your Chiru have in store ?...What does he understand about people's problems ?...Right after films he launched his party within 6 months and aims to be a CM...HUH what a little effort is he putting when compared to other leaders ?...He is full of filmy gimmicks nothing else...He has no agenda, no action plan as to how he would steer the state out of the mess...He is just making empty promises...Go and ask in villages and you will know what Dr.YSR has done....
Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP government in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.
Under the scheme, the state government buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.
The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.
The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.
This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

Any good scheme from BJP is bad for media Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.
The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news. Yeddyurappa has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.
The Chief Minister also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants

Yeddyurappa is a good politician but our media cannot highlight the good aspect because Media itself is biased.
Poeple should start boycotting such new papers and TV Channels. I have already discontinue Deccan Chronicle in Hyderabad!

There is sense of disillussionment among traditional independent thinking congress voters. Congress must remember that though BJP is perceived as communal party in vast section of society but that is not the only justification to vote for congress. People have become wiser and wiser. Hope they learn lesson soon.

You are right people are not content with the singular secular agenda. They still need roti, kapra, makan, internal as well as national security, job security, social security and a hundred other things.I hope and pray that BJP and Advaniji will take care of all such necessities.
i think too much is read in alliances. i would rather suggest that is is voter/ common man who will make or break a party. let the congress appeal to masses for voting them to usher in a new era and economic order not based on caste and creed etc. it may loose one election but in next it may be tops. u have to think unique. in alliances/ communalisatin and criminalisation now every political party appears like a chameleon. u may have to loose a battle to win a war.

By the way, where is the Tamil boy?I could not find his postings for few weeks now,I am really worried now.
Elections are apparently all about PEOPLEs choice. But now it is all a game of fooling the voters and dumping the PEOPLE once the results are declared. Elections should really be called "FoolThePeople" (Ullu Banao) contest.

BJP-NDA will win and form the govt. We shall again have stable, progressive, nationalist-patriotic, and all round developer govt.
BJP-NDA six years rule made Bharat a powerful nation, commanding respect worldwide.
But, Kangresss moanrchy has ruined the nation last 5 years.
