That is a generalisation. It is not all sikhs. Most of them are not slaves like MMS or Ahluwalia.

Honest
Let us fight for issues NOT for Politics
by Honest on Mar 26, 2009 08:24 PM

We fight in the name of religion and political parties. The Political parties are banking on these psychologies of people. While choosing a candidate, religion is given the prominent place. A religion and its people are nothing but a vote bank!! So it becomes your duty to vote for a person belonging to your religion no matter that person is a criminal!! After the election, the winning candidate choose to live in Delhi and never visit his constituency untill the next election. ONly his wealth is getting attention not the people.

We have seen this formula for nearly 60 years. Let us stop this. Let us vote this time on the basis of issues in one constituencey or the other. Let us vote this time for the benefit of our nation and its security. We are note vote bank of robotes! We should learn this lesson from other countries. In America, Obama became president because people wanted a change. People became tired of financial crisis and it became a national issue. After the 9/11, the security issue voted Bush into power. Let's think beyond politics. Never become a slave of a party. Think beyond party line. I think we should think of national security this time and in this election. Judge your candidate as to what is he/she doing in Delhi and for your constituency!!!

You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any region or caste or creed --that has nothing to do with the business of the State. -- J!nnah, 11th August, 1947

Congjress is the root cause of Sikh discontent
by Raju Dalit on Mar 26, 2009 08:18 PM

It is the wrong policies of Indira Gandhi and Zailsingh that put a bitterness between brothers. It was congress who spread the riots in 1984 and it is blamed on Hindus. How ? It is congress who now support the muslims to hurt Hindus. The dynasty must go.
