in India there is Nehruvian type of secularism
by ak on Mar 26, 2009 08:36 PM

n India there is Nehruvian type of secularism tilt towards other sects except majority.Nehru has ignored Gandhi's & Sardar Patel's version of secularism. after the death of Gandhi & Sardar there was no one to stop Nehru.
If we want true secularism for majority as well it requires complete transformation from present political system a departure from Nehruvian secularism.

Difference between brothers, created for power.,
by Raju Dalit on Mar 26, 2009 08:34 PM  | Hide replies

It is most unfortunate that difference between brothers were created by indira gandhi and her party. the riots were done by them and blamed on hindu parties, they forgot secularism there. also she forgot democracy, imposed immgergency. they use secularism, democracy, castism for their fiefdom !

oh yes, they can buy media people. who can show you how peaceful and nice people the Ghouri descendent muslims are. SAtupped media, since educated by christian masters in convent school and then purchased by them and congress...know nothing. By the time they realise, their next generation will have been enslaved again. Too late.

Honest
Let us vote for a purpose
by Honest on Mar 26, 2009 08:31 PM  | Hide replies

We fight in the name of religion and political parties. The Political parties are banking on these psychology of people. While choosing a candidate, religion is given the prominent place. A religion and its people are nothing but a vote bank!! So it becomes your duty to vote for a person belonging to your religion no matter that person is a criminal!! After the election, the winning candidate choose to live in Delhi and never visit his constituency untill the next election. ONly his wealth is getting attention not the people.

We have seen this formula for nearly 60 years. Let us stop this. Let us vote this time on the basis of issues in one constituencey or the other. Let us vote this time for the benefit of our nation and its security. We are not a vote bank of robotes!

We should learn this lesson from other countries. In America, Obama became president because people wanted a change. People became tired of financial crisis and it became a national issue. After the 9/11, the security issue voted Bush into power.

Let's think beyond politics. Never become a slave of a party. Think beyond party line. I think we should think of national saecurity this time and in this election. Judge your candidate as to what is he/she doing in Delhi and for your constituency!!!

Dr Manmohan Singh apologised in parliament on behalf of the nation. Actually, he should have apologised on behalf of the Congress. The whole nation was not responsible for the riots.
