I do agree with Yele, we all must agree she is wrong choice to hold the position of Speaker...LS is place where a dynamic personality like Somnath Da or Mayawati or Mamta or Sushma Swaraj is required.
Meira Kumar talks like a teenage model and she is very concious while on camera. Her voice can be use for voice over in TV serial " Balika Vadhu"!

Thank you mR Kulkarni at least you have noted her. This India dog is a tilet cleanner in Gulf and has returned back after many years trying now for the same post at Some dalita politicians but Indian Dalit leader will not give you the Job.
If a person from SC community has been identified to the Speakership..for the first time-what's wrong in it? Why all respondents are alarmed? Do you think-only you have access to internet and TV? Only after 60 long years-a Dalit taking up this post-it is bad on our system!! Till now a community having less than 10% in India-ruled this country.. what they have done for emancipation of the lower class? While bramins use the general tax payers money-utilize all benefits designed craftly by brahmins-in order to support their cause. Example-IITs/IIMs-after studying in these premiar institutes-why they go to USA/EU/Australia? When the previous health minister Anbumony mentioned-Medical students should have minimum 1 year rural experience to get their MBBS-it was wildly opposed by this community.. When Karunanidhi gave free TVs-everybody ridiculed him..this helps the lower class get the information at their home-and contributes for development. Doesn't it? So accept the fact-life is a wheel: lower has to come up one day.. this is how the world is designed: A day will come when brahmin and dalit taking up agriculture to cleaning activities.. money will not work then/ that is real development in India- Empowered India!!!

Paswan is a SC what that to do with? is he different from any other politician? does being a sc st or a dalit changes the very person? my dear we are human beings? come out of the dalit regime? many dalits i know are savouring the top posts and their children are taking the advantages still of being a dalit? do u have the data of how many people are actually dalits and are deprived of the facilities as they dont get means to have bread everyday. Meira kumar, mayawati, paswan are people from the lower castes and have gone up and shall remain there for their kids their kids and trheirs. and u indian shall be proud that one dalit has become speaker? tell me what notable achievements have been done by dalit meira kumar to the dalit community? tell me what mayawati has done to the dalit community except life like statues of their leaders? be a little practical when u say all this. there is no dalit no SC no ST no Brahmin no KSHtriya, no vaishya up tehre. there is a nexus. we here think of castes and suffer my proud INDIAN

Do not worry for us we do not call anybody for cleanning at our home. If you are return back form gulf after many year and earned money and trying to please some dalit leaders so that you could get Tiolet Cleanner Job in their house ... so Forget Dalit Leaders will not give you that Job.

What is great in it? We have already seen SC or ST people as the President of India. This very same Congress did not allow Jagjivan Ram to become the Prime Minister of India and this Meira Kumar should be ashamed of being his daughter and is accepting the position inspite of damage done to her father. SC is not made PM because that is money plus power post whereas President and Speaker are non-power and non-money posts. On the other hand, how do other SCs and STs who are suffering for their next food benefitted by this SC becoming the Speaker?

No lower or upper as such!! But craftiness of aryan shepherds who reached Indus via hyber & bolan-lured by the richness and abundance of this country-settled here - thus Indus valley and harappan civilisations emerged later. why shame on Indian democracy? I think its a matter of pride!! Even one from so called lower castes decorating high offices.. It was BJP's compulsion to nominate a ST for Deputy Speeker or again supramacy factor? which made them to take this choice? A Brahmin could have nominated by atleast BJP? Is their any convention that a Brahmin cant be a deputy to a Dalit?

why we say dalit as dalit when UNO is using developed, under developed, and least developed term. in that era we use dalit and OBC words. How forward we are or how dual Character we have.
Meera Kumar should Thank Maya of BSP for her name proposal for speaker. Then, SLAP SOnia and BJP-Congress Nexus for pushing her with purpose of cutting Dalit votes and Mayawati.
For the very same reason (threat from Maya), BJP did the opposite to Uma, they UNbalanced her, used and downsized her. Where is Uma's party. That very reason UMA should go and thank Maya, ask how she can develop balance, Dalit direction and say that we should be defiant for the Dalit rights and Dalit PM elected directly by people from Dalit party. Never a Dalit appointee that will be controlled as a Pet like MMS and utilized to capture minority votes.
Hope there is some defiance left after INDEPENdence in India against gypsy GREED, HATE against the poor (who are called names such as Bhaiya, Bonks, Dalit, OBC, Oriya, etc. ) and manipulation of the POOR against other.
