An attempt to mislead
by GODAVARTI RAmesh on Apr 30, 2009 05:30 PM  | Hide replies

Ms Bhatt has made and honest attempt to mislead the public by stating that CBI is always like this only. What she wants to convey is that any one in power can use CBI to their advantage. This is wrong . CBI maintains a low profile whenever a non congress govt is in power. A look at the Record of cases handled by it during Congress and Non congress regimes makes it clear as to which side CBI thinks its bread is buttered.

CBI’s lukewarm pursuit
by annamalai on Apr 30, 2009 05:07 PM  | Hide replies

I refer to the withdrawal of the Red Corner Notice issued against Quattrochi by the CBI.

The argument that the warrant cannot remain in force forever by the attorney general is fallacious. By the same logic would the government act to withdraw the Red Corner Notices issued against Dawood Ibrahim and others implicated in many cases as it cannot remain in force forever and are unlikely to be brought to justice in India? Curiously the CBI is taking steps with alacrity to make the life of Quattrochi and his ilk smooth. The CBI has always been lukewarm in its pursuit of the Bofors chapter.

CBI IS KNOWN AS 'CONGRESS BACKDOOR INSTRUCTIVE " AGENCY AS IT WAS A POLITICAL APPOINTEE BY SONIA ANTONIA MADAM WHO LET 'Q' FLY OUT OF ARGENTINA AND REMOVED THE RED RING AROUND 'Q' FROM INTERPOL

Illegal Bangladeshis have Voting Rights. I DONT.
by Jas on Apr 30, 2009 05:06 PM

Even after running around for a month, i could not get my name registered in Electoral Rolls.

My Maid, Security Guard, and Jhadoowaala all have voter id cards - but i dont. Inspite of the fact that all these people have No Residence Proof, No Identity Proof. On asking them i found that Political Goondas get these people Voter Id Cards so that they can vote for them.

This is THUGGERY of the highest Order. Thieves and Lazy Clerks sit in offices preparing electoral rolls as they like.

Farewell gift?
by aandal on Apr 30, 2009 05:06 PM

I smell a “political conspiracy” behind the CBI’s decision when it pursed its lips on Bofors accused Quattrocchi’s name being dropped from Interpol’s wanted list. Maybe there is a point here.

What purpose is served by seeking the detention of a man if you don’t have the political resolve to extradite him? Between Attorney General Milon Banerjee, Law Minister Hansraj Bhardwaj, a puppet CBI and certain family friends of the Quattrocchis, the Congress leadership has made a mockery of India’s criminal justice system. Jaitely has rightly commented that it’s Congress’ farewell gift to its nation-in-law!
