Action to be Taken

If the journalist who threw the show towards Chidambaram was punished through various IPC then we could have avoided chain reaction.

FYI : the guy who threw shoe towards former US president was offered with 3yrs imprisonment.

its the best way to express political dissent. Hopefully some of the shoes will find its target and some cameras would record it.

True. They get what they deserve.

It's high time politicians learnt to take things in their stride.

This incedents only go to show how frustrated the people are with these politicians. Everybody seems to do nothing, except filling thier pockets.

Politicians should improve else it will be too late and noone can say what turn it will take.

Hohoho -- Yedurappa's reaction was hilarious -- "slipper throwing not as per our culture" -- he won't settle for anything less than a shoe

'for unbiased news look at NDTV' if there were Oscars for Ridiculous Statements, this line would win it! This channel is a stain and shame to all professional journalists.

Are you jealous that no Pakistani is throwing shoe in Pakistani politicians.

Honestly, we Indians are having a great time throwing shoes at our politicians.

Why don't you try that in Pakistan?

You are absolutely right. In the case of Bush it was done by an Iraqi in his country. But here indians are throwing shoes / slippers on indians, that oo PM and CM, HM, etc which is deplorable and the people involved should be punished severely and it should be a lesson for others in the waiting. We indians are lowering ourselves before the world. When are we going to change out mind set.

you have not read of the things that people want to do to Bush even today...

and you have missed out entire seasons of protests when they climbed on big buildings and hung banners shaming thir own "God of the world" president in the hope that he climbs down from his high seat to understand what he has doen to USA and the world.
He did not get the message, so people gave the best message to both him and his party - and you have Democrats everywhere and a black man in the White house, voted by the people of America!!!
US protests are never shown to the world
US disasters are not reported in major newspapers because major newspapers are purchased by US media cartels.

India is a much freer country.

I dont support that. In fact, the CM should not have asked the police to file charges. I think people have the right, nay duty, to insult politicians.
