Wrong examples
by kishorh on Apr 28, 2009 07:07 PM

We Indians are setting up a wrong example for democracy by this stupid acts. There is no justification for these acts, that common man who could take courage to throw slipper, does not have courage to ask a question to CM/PM and tell he is wrong for A, B, C, D reasons? They have to be penalised for this act, else Indian democracy will become a joke. Agree that many politicians do not have any value, but this incident is a national shame and vengeance game by political parties. Now what if every party stars sponsoring slipper throwing at other party leaders? Where is Bharat heading to?

varun, if you have excess money or capability to gather that money, use it for good purposes, education, drinking water, sanitation, and you can be a real hero.

one lac is too less for any kind of development..but if a corrupt politician will get a chappal on his face he might think to give up some percentage of corrupt money for welfare which will be several hundred crores

your understanding is not correct, in 1 lakh you can install a borewell and water tank in rural place and they will remember you rather.

So sad
by Nidhish Singh on Apr 28, 2009 06:43 PM

Its not about all the slippers missing target neither about corrupt politician.
The thing is we are so fast in picking up and copy the wrong thing.
We never copy the good things so fast...
I just wish my alimghty friends, throwing slippers wont let you win accolades.
You are just adding insult to our country more than any individual.
