Thisi sour time to show our frustration
by Calspadeaspade on Apr 28, 2009 05:24 PM  | Hide replies

Every neta deserves this treatment no matter which party he/she is from. Abul Kalam , Narayana Murti etc are advising ordinary people on honesty , scruples and performance. The real culprits who need this lecture are the netas. The minute he is in power he tries to employ many of his buddies in the public sector unscrupulously and in a scandelous way putting the blame on a poor employee of those organizations. The minute he becomes minister performance is not his priority but nepotism, looting and sycophancy are his first priority.

Before pointing an accusing finger on netas, just do a self analysis and find out how good you are, as a citizen and as a human being. In a democracy, we get the government we deserve, no point in complaining. Netas are not fallen from heaven, they are from amongst us.

I dont know about you Ramnath. I hope you are not like the netas you are trying to defend. But I can vouch for my character as a very honest hard working smart efficient person.

I agree with you Ramanath. In my opinion the people of India are more corrupt than the politicians.

You sound like you have benofitted from corrupt politicians. I have done self analysis and I and the people I know and my family have done their duty as citizen, paid taxes worked very hard in our jobs and been very honest.Treated our house hold servant with kindness and helped her kids in education and to get a job. Donated for worthy cause what ever we could. Hope you are satisfied. Most imp never took undue favours from any politician or any one. So lose your blanket statement. As to politicians I can vouch 80% of them either perform poorly or misuse power. That is why the country is not progressing as fast as it should. HOpe you are satisfied with my answer.

training centre
by adesh jhanwar on Apr 28, 2009 05:20 PM  | Hide replies

I intend to start a training centre so that atleast the targets are hit properly. Every time a shoe or a chappal is thrown it misses the target. Its so shameful. if such a big shoe cant hit the target how are we going to win medals in the forth coming commonwealth games. Some one needs to look into this seriously. I am sure loads of people would join my training centre and get proper training of hitting the target. I also plan to put up statues of all sorts of politicians with some movement ( they will be operated by remote ) what say guys?

Teach Them A Lesson
by chandrashekar nayak on Apr 28, 2009 05:18 PM  | Hide replies

It all started by that one mad muslim crook in Iraq and within 3 months, it has srpread like a deadly viral desease. When it started in India, Mr P Chidambaram decided to play Gandhigiri with the culprit by " pardoning" him for his sin. This has encouraged a lot more people and the epidemic is spreading everywhere. Politicians are the easy target. I feel that this is not the way we behave with our politicians. If we don't like a politician, we all should use ballot to teach him a lesson and not throwing shoes at politician from opposit political party. There is no end to such dirty acts. Today, Devegowda's supporter hurled shoes at BSY. Tomarrow, a BJP supporter may retaliate and throw shoes at Devegowda. This chain reaction will only continue. So, BSY has done a right thing by asking the police to take tough action against the culprit. Fortunately, the aggressor turned out to be a Hindu othewise, our Secular Media would have yelled 24 hrs for next one week.A severe punishment of say 03 yrs behind the bars will make others think 10 times before any such adventurism.

An offender will stop only when disproportionate force is used against him. It was perfectly alright for Israel to use excessive force when it was frequently attacked by Hamas with Rockets.Hamas stopped further attacks and Israel's mission was accomplished!

xxxyyy,

Given a chance, 99.9% of males would like to have a female friend, outside marriage (extra-marital affair as we fondly call it, including yourself. If Yeddi has a relation with someone that is his personal matter. Don't feel jelours about it.

On the other issue, if there is any foul play in the death of his wife, that will be enquired into, and if he is found guilty, he will have to quit and spent time in jail.

BSY should be given atleast free 2.5 yrs of time to prove his credibility. Bringing his old problems out is dangerous and if he wins this case it will be counterproductive for opposition

It is only CONGRESS internal politics! You do not want somebody from your own party to contest but he is there always!!. Now he needs to be removed. The only way to do that is to 'forgive' the shoe thrower guy and say 'emotional protest'. Now your candidate is forced to quit the race!!.
