Advani will be a PM 'even' in 2014. 'Even' being the subjective word here.

Modi's statement will assure that for the present one need not get scared that Advani may become3 PM now. In 2014 what will happen to BJP is unpredictable and it it goes out of power for nother five years, probably many other serious contenders will emerge which includes Arun Jeitly and Rajnath Singh.
