By projecting L K Advani as the Prime Ministerial candidate for the next government, the BJP has done the biggest political blunder. With aggressive media campaign, the party is putting an all-out effort to elevate Advani to a cult figure, as if creating a new avatara by putting the leader over party but failed to grasp the fact that the bottle, like the wine, has become too old to fetch enough admirers. Mimicking the Congress of late 1970s and early 1980s when late Mrs. Indira Gandhi was projected as one-man show, the BJP has narrowed the whole focus of its campaign on one man, who is disliked by a great majority of this country, or at least is not approved to be India’s PM. In the first place, the very expectation of any charismatic outcome due to Advani’s elevation as PM-in-Waiting is a flawed election strategy.

"who is disliked by a great majority of this country" .. haa haa..look who is talking about majority. Tell me one goodthing your COngress party did to you minorities. They only managed to divide the communities further by constantly referring you as "minorities" and as if you are all poor and ill treated. Muslim community is one of the richest in India. So, wake up to the truth and sincerely analyze Congress.

Ha Ha Ha.... Heard about Sonia's gaffe in Gujarat day before yesterday? She went to criticize NaMo/BJP as follows: -She said"WE SEND MONEY TO STATE GOVT, THEY DONT GIVE IT TO PEOPLE", this line has been said end number of times, people are fed up of it. -Then she said in Village " Sujalam Sufalam yojna is all nonsense, I dont see anything in this village", well you under graduate, the yojna is not applied in this village, it was in the other village where you finished your rally. Sonia is not a fool, but a grade A bufoon.
BJP is the party of the elite (aka the Brahmins and upper castes) who have a vested interest in propogating and perpetuating orthodox Hinduism because that preserves their position.Dalits , Adivasis and Backward castes should not vote for their oppressors .

Losers never accept their fate, they are only good at blaming others who have worked hard for their developments. If you losers had put in at least 50% of the efforts that the winners had put in the past, you wouldn't be complaining. You are only good enough to be a communist as you always want the successful people to lower their lifestyle instead of rectifying the system to uplift the life styles of those you consider are backward. You are all ok with giving and taking bribe, but the elite section are not interested.
BJP lacks both competencies and conviction to govern a culturally and socio-economically DIVERSE and distinct society like India.
* Advani amd Modi injected VENOM in certain sections of Indian society. * Voting for Advani is equal to voting for dis-integration of India.
Or, * You must vote for your CASTE till 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE or INTER-FAITH. * Only he can UNDERSTAND your culture and IMPROVE your socio-economic status.
This is the only way to STOP dis-integration of India.

I pity your gross ignorance. You are misinformed of most of the things happening in India. Your sight is narrow. I am a Hindu Brahmin, never ever voted for BJP in my life. All I have voted for in the last 11 years is for Congress and it's suckling allies. Now, I consider I have wasted my vote for the last 11 years on a party that is only publicly enriching the divide between communities by constantly hurting the Hindus and playing minority vote bank politics. It's a shame on me and on us to have been ruled by Congress blokes for more than 5 decades.

According to congress:
Sikhs getting slaughered in thousands = A MISTAKE. hind us getting killed in Kashmir = Political problem. mu slims getting killed by a few hundred = Holocaust. Poor protestors getting shot in WB under Left Govt = Misunderstanding.
Banning Parzania in Gujarat = Communal. Banning Da Vinci Code and Jo Bole So Nihaal = Secular.
Kargil Attack = Government failure. Chinese invasion in 1962 = Unfortunate betrayal.
Reservations in every school and college on caste lines = Secular. Reservations in Minority institutions = Communal.
Fake encounters in Gujarat [Sohrabuddin] = BJP Communalism. Fake encounters under Cong-NCP in Maharashtra [Khwaja Younus] = Police atrocity.
Talking about hind us and hind uism appeasment = Communal. Talking about mu slims and Islam = Secular.
BJP freeing 3 terrorists to save 100 Indian hostages = Shameful Congress freeing 4 militants to save just a life of one daughter of I Home minister in Kashmir [Rubina Sayed] = Natural Political dilemma.
Attack on Parliament = BJP ineptitude. Not hanging Afzal Guru the mastermind despite Supreme Court orders = Humanity and Political dilemma.
BJP questioning Islam = Communal. Congress questioning Lord Ramas existance = Clerical Error.
BUT naked cruelty is not the only hallmark of RSS controlled outfits. Just like any fascistic organisation, another and equally distinguishing hallmark of theirs is the deceit they practise for the sake of capturing power. As we know, the RSS has created thousands of outfits all over India --- from national to local level. Many of them speak in different voices, the VHP for example keeps railing against the BJP, and on any single issue one can hear two leaders of the BJP saying mutually contradictory things. But all this has just one aim --- to dupe the masses and corner their votes. A commission of inquiry into the Bhiwandi riots of 1969 has already dealt with the way the RSS and its outfits function. Many of them do not keep a register of members or a record of proceedings, just to be able to claim they are not involved in a riot after they engineer it.

AND the same deceit is being practised today in other forms. Here we will not go into the story of what the BJP led regime has done in these five years. The unprecedented burdens they heaped on the masses, the way they sacrificed our people's interests at various junctures, their surrender of our economic sovereignty inch by inch, the way they enacted POTA and other draconian legislations to rule by brute force, the way they tried to saffronise the whole set-up including the educational curricula and textbooks in order to produce a generation of fanatic storm-troopers and cannon fodders, their corruption scams one after another, and their willing capitulation to US imperialists on crucial issues --- all these are well known to our people and have been dealt with in these columns from time to time. Suffice it to say that independent India has never before witnessed a regime that has so unabashedly betrayed our national interests at the behest of its masters abroad.
Re: Re: saga of deceit

In fact, it is the shameful record of five years that forced the BJP to resort to a series of gimmicks, as it is doing today. While unfounded claims are being made about growth, development, job creation and road construction in the last five years, the plight of the mass of people has gone from bad to worse at the same time. People starved to death while the godowns were overflowing with grains. Per capita availability of grains has declined from 177 grams in 1993-94 to 153 grams a day, while grains are being exported at damn cheap prices to serve as chicken feed in the US and other western countries. Truly, the life of these chickens is more valuable than that of hapless Indians!

After such a pictorial expression of what usually goes on inside your head, you dont need to post anything else. But you can read more news and update yourself so as to avoid future confusion regarding past incidents. That will also enable you to look at things from an unbiased point of view.
While a creative Modi has spun one-liners, hate has been missing from his stinging speeches. Instead, satire is his favourite weapon to attack his favourite targets these days.
* Advani bribed an American journalist to write an adverse article about Vajpayee HEALTH in TIME magazine. * Later Advani used this article to CONVINCE Vajpayee to appoint him as Deputy Prime Minister of India.

And then came the most gruesome massacre of M*slims in Gujarat with the active connivance of the BJP regime in the state. There is ample evidence to conclude that the massacre was being planned for months. While it was unleashed on the pretext of a heinous crime at Godhra, the fact is that it would have been unleashed on some other pretext even if Godhra had not been there. As we know, this massacre of M*slims, the biggest case of genocide in independent India, continued for months together. Though the Best Bakery case and the like are gradually bringing out the horrors of this genocide, what has come to light so far is only the proverbial tip of the iceberg.
Re: Re: ELECT THEM AT YOUR OWN PERIL
by Imran on Apr 27, 2009 09:47 AM
It is not that the saffron brigade perpetrated this kind of massacre only after coming to power. Not to talk of the pre-1947 period, the RSS' outfits have engineered gruesome riots at various places at one time or another --- in Bhiwandi, Jalgaon, Tellicherry, Aligarh, Moradabad, Meerut and Bhagalpur, to name only a few among many. If the Gujarat genocide was much more gruesome than the examples quoted, it was because it was perpetrated, and continues in a low key even today, with the full backing of state power. This underlines the gravity of the threat India is facing today --- the biggest threat so far in the history of independent India. Such events are an unmistakable indication of what India would be like tomorrow if the saffron brigade is allowed to return to power.
