If the same thing was talked by some muslim guy then it would be potrayed like he is savor of minority, but if Hindu's talk it's taken as wrong...God only know's why this is happening.... One more thing its not just Hinduism, even in Islam you cannot marry between the sect, and as of i know south Indian Christians behave in the same way... so before pointing anything about Hinduism verify how other religion in India works..... But for your information, social reformers are trying their best to abolish casteism in India & they are getting success too. Constitution of India has also secured that no discrimination on caste will be done in free India. Times are changing and intercast marriage is very common nowdays.... regarding ur statement that dalits cant go into medical schoool.... dude wake up...what is 69% of reservation doing then.... every medical/engg college has 69% of Backward caste people.... so come out of ur newyork and see what is happening in India.....
