The rise of Mayawati in Indian politics is not a Chrisma, but i) ideology - of social reformers like Jayotiba Pule, Amedkar, Kanshi Ram, ii) her determination to fullfill the dreams of social reformers, iii) long-term vision, iv)courage to withstand all the hurdles created by those who affraid of the awkening if dalits. She has joined the movement to uplifts dalits in the age of 21 yrs. She has overcome all the challenges posed by the parties like Congress, BJP, SP, etc. She has been leveled with caste politics, without knowing is there any political party, any institution including judiciary where caste is not a major factor and also wheather she has created catses. To me the most important contribution she has made is raising of self-esteem and self-respect in dalits. Mind it without self-esteem, humanbeings are worse than animals. And I strongly feel, this is the contribution from which most of our political parties are affraid of, english speaking corporate is affraid of. Dalits cannot be exploited by any one now. Earlier they were reccessive, but they are becoming dominant. They were not considered in any decision making, but now no one can deny their role. Earlier they were taken as granted vote bank, now they are having their own vision, agenda ,... Hats off to Mayawati and her team. Really she has given life to large majority of Indian population.
Hello People, I am a dalit(by caste)and never used any of the reservation for me.I am working in a private firm and doing well.Mayawati is no more a dalit,she is behaving like a feudal queen.Her speeches are mostly written beforehand and not understandable.Her policies are not clear apart from social engineering which didn't do any good for our country.She never said what will be her focal points to develop our country(i.e. infrastructure,education,clean drinking water,energy etc).All i heard 'dalit ki beti'.Being a dalit i felt she got the riches of kamau politics and hungry for more.Being a PM aspirant these basic understanding of country's need is more important than arresting some Gandhi for hate speech.She do not have the foresight.She has foresight about making money by kamau tactics and control society by goons like Mukhter Ansari etc

It is to remind you if you are being considered as humenbeing, you are having rights to live, etc, that is not due to you, but due to Mayawati like leaders and social reformers.Donot block your mind, learn tru history of India. And also keep in mind "Pay back to the society to which you belong".

It is absolutely attrotious to call Dalits Outsiders. It is the Aryans and Italians who are outsiders. Dalits are the most Indian of all the indian people. In fact, only the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe people are really racially pure Indians. All others have foreign blood. These white people will write anything and see, rediff has been shameless enough to quote it all here. OUTSIDER, my foot. It is all those fair skinned people who have been running this country for the past years, who are outsiders, not Behenji.
Mayawati for sure is extremely detrimental for the country, worse of than Modi - Casteist and divisive like commual and divisive Modi and no success on development. While Modi certainly has development which by far exceeds success or achievements ever garnered by CMs in India for the last 60 years.

Modi is Greate India's Greate Son. Mayawathi' influenceis limited to her Caste and her State. Where as Modiji is Greater than all. He taller than Mr.Jawaharlal Nehru.
No one is equal to modi in his good character and helping to Develop India.
He is the Greatest Secular India,(Not Psedo secular like S.P.R. MMS- Congies).
mayawati neither has the charm or the capability to be Indian Prime Minister. To be a PM, you need to rise above all politics which she is not capable of doing. She will use all her power on the national stage to make every opponent suffer. Instead of doing national welfare, she will be playing bigger politics.
First off I really don't understand why does everyone vote for a regional party in national elections. We have 2 national parties Congress or BJP. Third/Left front is a bogus party. Vote for either of them. You do not have to vote for these regional parties that have only created havoc in national politics. Remember Jayalalitha!!! Such a bunch of morons.
why do ppl make the same mistakes again. It takes a lot of tax payers money to conduct these elections, only to realize that no one got a majority and the election needs to happen again.
We do not need any cirtification from outsiders regarding opinion for our political leaders. The note stats that Mayawati did not do anything for Dalits and they are in same status as before. What congress did to lift them in it's rule for more than 5 decades? The status of dalits cannot be improved overnight and one or two tenures of 5 years cannot provide to uplift nearly half a billion of population. At least, the dalits today have their united voice of concern and we Indians must respect the faith these poor people bestowe upon their leader. Whatsoever the reason may be, UP has vitnessed some improvement in law and order situation under her rule. Poison can be treated by poison and all the antidots for poisoning are in fact poison in itself. So she need to armwrestle the muscular stalwarts and street rowdies of other political parties in order to bring justice to poor people,which is resisted by not only Indian media but by outsiders as well.

as if you were going to vote BSP ? One thing i would agree she is safer than SP and i think people should get used to the ideas that sooner we will have UP yites ruling India, improve UP or these guys will drag rest of the india down !!!
