Others also know America as much as you know. The divisions in the society based on religion, wealth, etc are equally prevalent in US. On the contrary, caste as a system is prominet in other religions as well. The division among Christains, Muslims is well-known. In Africa, people are driven by tribal politics, and they carry marks on their faces as to which tribe they belong. There are civil wars among the tribals. You should sincerely post comments to help in eradicating this malaise of divisions among people, and do not target any specific religion in your comments.

New Yorker seems to be in the 18th centurywhen british were ruling and divided India on caste and religion basis. Hinduism does not divide persons on the basis of birth but on the basis of work and nature. Please read Bhagavdgita Chapter IV Stanza 13 which says Chaturvarna is based on Guna nad Karma and not on birth. It also preaches Nishkaam Karma. It does not preach dogma like Islam which asks you to kill ebvry one who does not believe in Allah.

What about all these western religions that promote slavery. The Muslims have had slaves- in fact when the muslim invaders came to india they would bring their slaves with them. Cristians who have had the longest and most repulsive form of slavery. ( the only reason why slavery was abolished was because those slaves adopted christianity and thus became christian brothers). You talk Just like the rest of western educated people.

Why is it that only Hinduism is still surviving and all other religions keep vanshing whenever a new religion comes up. Think what was the religion of all the christians before 2000 years ago? what was the religion of muslims before 1400 years.?what do you think their religion will be after another 1000 years?

the fact is hinduism is the oldest religion and culture of india and world and that remains the eternal truth.
britishers ruled india for 200 years in which the 1st 100 was to fabricate the ancient vedas to suit them, create aryan invasion theory which never existed and thus divide aryan with dravidan and finally the slave educated indain fabricated history books to give wrong history which is teached in schools.
but the truth is hinduism has remained unaffected inspite of 600 years of Muslim looters and then 200 years of English, and will remain unaffected to show the divine eternal path.

Looks like you have stayed in New York for too long and are still in your make believe of 1950. Can't blame you though, better for you if you stay away from the reality

You clearly lack insight into indian society. Most medical and engineering colleges, civil services have reservation for the last 60 yrs. So there are tons of high class dalits. Unfortunately they stop calling themselves as Dalits or sitting with their Dalit friends as soon as they rise up.

Good point! The Dalits are like the American blacks. As soon as a black gets well-educated, he/she moves out of black neibourhood into afluent locale, and the remaining blacks continue to complain about discrimination!

marriage is a personal and private affair.
The background of the person you marry is not open to outsider opinions.
Next you'll be suggesting reservation in marriage for dalits....50% of Fcs SHOULD marry a dalit!!!!

Caste is the deciding factor every where in India. A person goes near electronic voting machine votes only for their caste irrespective of party.

Nationalism is not politics but a religion, a creed, a faith ..... I say that it is the Sanatana Dharma, which for us is nationalism. This Hindu nation was born with the Sanatana Dharma, with it moves and with it grows. When the Sanatana Dharma declines, then the nation declines, and if the Sanatana Dharma were capable of perishing, with the Sanatana Dharma it would perish. The Sanatana Dharma, that is nationalism.”

Bogus secular Hindus are trying to avoid major dangers by exposing Jihadi terrorism, Christian conversion, Corruption, looting of public wealth, black money and Pakistan inspired Islamic violence. And they are making compromises to appease Muslims, Christians and subversive groups. Congress, Marxist and regional political leaders are very hypocritical. They are in denial and easily give in to anti national pressure groups to protect themselves against injury and punishment. However, giving into this attitude leads to a loss of Hindu identity and self-esteem. The danger of assuming hypocritical behavior is a loss of Hindu identity. They wear a mask that pleases Muslims, Christians and their secular slave masters. However, they play the double role too well, compromising Hindu needs too much, the mask become a permanent fixture. Could this election help Hindus to expose these miscreants? These pseudo secularists are in a hurry to surrender to hate and to their slave masters.

You are one hundred percent correct in recognizing the root cause of all the problems. Today, if a few Muslims are moderate, it is because of the inherent Good that dwells in humans. Islam tries to destroy the humanity in all its followers to the last drop under the garb of profecy, so that nobody is allowed to question even the most illogical and the most cruel of its practices

no dear.. sorry to say.. Biharis are still a fool. If you ever get a chance to travel by train and you meet a person of his caste. You will get to know what the ground reality is... This person has been getting votes due to MY (muslim Yadav) combination. and will continue to do so... May be the BSP muslim candidate cuts some of his vote...
