dEVELOPMENT GONE FOR A tOSS
by vikram on Apr 20, 2009 11:37 AM  | Hide replies

During these last 5 years it has happened or no ?

Has the stock market tumbled and made millions of small, middle class people loose their hard earned savings, every last rupee and made them commit suicide ?
Has price of PHARMACEUTICALS, PAINKILLERS GONE DOWN ?? Has cost of education gone down ?
Do 1% richest people in the country have more wealth and say/ power / influence than 90% of the poorest people
Has number, instances of suicides and rapes become common ??
Have Banks agreed to reduce rate of interest ?
Do you feel u r earning for the bank ? and ur pockets are always empty ?..... money ille , not there !
has government taken any action to significantly reduce ROI and check if bankers are passing on the reduction in rate of interests to thier OLD CLIENTS
Has porography, pervertness and kinkyism, frustration increased , become very common ?
Are more woman out on the streets to ESCORT/ compromise, to earn a living because of loosing jobs and proper means of livelihood ?
Has Government put deaf ear towards revival and unemployment ?
has money been splurged on a particular sport even when we are saying there is recession in the country ?
Whay again and again, there is VOLATILITY IN THE SHARE MARKET.
Why people are being made to deliberately loose their all money in stocks by repeated UPS and DOWNS ?
This way, rich will remain rich and Poor will become more Poor ?
Why is this happeneing, what manipulation is behind this ? Cast your vote for a better Govt.

Ninja Kirgi
Myth
by Ninja Kirgi on Apr 20, 2009 09:06 AM  | Hide replies

Its a myth that casteism is an Hindu concept. Almost every society has its own caste structures, whether its europeans, africans, japanese, chinese or arabs.
In europe socity was divided into nobility, clergy, and commoners while commoners were still divided into burghers, peasants or serfs, and the estateless.
Traditional Yi society in Yunnan (South China) was caste based. People were split into the Black Yi (nobles), White Yi (commoners), Ajia and the Xiaxi. Ajia and Xiaxi were slave castes. The White Yi were not slaves but had no freedom of movement.
Two main castes in Japan were Samurai warrior castes and peasants. Only samurai caste was allowed to bear arms. The Burakumin are regarded as "ostracised." They are one of the main minority groups in Japan, along with the Ainu of Hokkaidō.
Bedouin (nomads), fellahin (villagers), and hadarrin (townspeople) comprise mainstream Arab society. The Khadem are not members of the three castes and are kept as perennial manual workers for the society through practices that mirror untouchability.

So terming caste system as Hindu concept is totally wrong. Its just that you people as Indian have more information about caste system in India and politicians have exploited castism for their own advancement.

And while you guys call brahmins as the biggest oppressor, their power is peanuts when compared to the ruthlessness and power shown by the clergy of europe and arabia.

A BRAHMIN WAS TRAVELLING IN A FIELD, A SMALL SHEPHARD BOY JUST FOR FUN THREW A STONE & HIT HIM ON THE HEAD. THE BRAHMIN JUST THOUGHT FOR A MOMENT, REMOVES 8 ANAS FROM HIS POCKET, GAVE IT TO THE BOY, PATTED HIM ON THE BACK, SAID GOOD JOB & WENT AWAY. AFTER SOME TIME A HEFTY PATIL WITH BIG MUSTACHE & A BIG CANE CAME ALONG THE WAY. THE SHEPHERD BOY THOUGHT THE BRAHMIN GAVE ME 8 ANAS FOR HITTING HIM, THIS PATIL WILL DEFINETLY GIVE ONE RUPEE & HIT HIM WITH A STONE. THE HEFTY PATIL CAUGHT HOLD OF THE BOY & THRASHED HIM SEVERLY & THEN LEFT HIM. HAD BRAHMIN REPRAMINDED THE BOY HE WOULD NOT HAVE HIT THE PATIL & GOT BEATEN. BUT THE BRAHMIN WANTED TO PUNISH THE BOY ALSO IN THE PROCESS THE BOY BOY WILL THINK HIGHLY OF BRAHMIN. EVEN TODAY THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING . THEY USE OTHER CASTE PEOPLE TO EXPLOIT OTHERS & IN THE PROCESS EAT ALL THE CREAM. SHOW ME HOW MANY BRAHMINS WERE KILLED IN ROITS OR BY TERRORIST

Go and Enquire to get the Real Information And Surely, you will find the percentage is disproportionate to their Population.

If you observe caste exploitations in india ,we find it not brahmins who are ruthless,it is always shudras castes like upper OBC who commit actrocities on other castes lower than them in social order.what is needed to make society more human is to spread the messages of Basaweswara or sharana verses of karnataka through out india to make common man sensitive to moral way of life and denounce caste deiscriminations.

Bihar needs Raj Thakaray
by Baba Kamdev on Apr 20, 2009 08:51 AM  | Hide replies

Laluprasad & Family has eaten up thousands of crores, given by central govt for different schemes.

Nearly 2 crore Biharis left Bihar for jobs.

Instead of giving them jobs in Bihar, Lalu/Nitish/Paswan are encouraging them to migrate to other parts.
Their aim is clear, to earn more & more. Now it is Nitish Kumar's turn.

Raj Thakaray is right. He appealed common Biharis many times, to stand up & ask their leaders 'why we need to leave our motherland?'...

Bihar needs a true leader like Raj Thakaray...

SOFT PM VERSUS STRONG PM-VOTERS MUST CHOOSE
by kedem kemorah on Apr 19, 2009 02:12 PM

Pakistan-based terrorists will launch another deadly Mumbai-style attack on India, says a US intelligence think-tank,Stratfor.Coming on the heels of the Tokyo donors' meeting which gave Pakistan some $5 billion,Stratfor concludes that these aid packages would have no effect in changing Pakistan's behaviour vis-a-vis India."Yet the gradual unraveling of command and control within the Pakistani military establishment has enabled many more of Islamabad's Islamist militant proxies operating in Pakistan and India to team up with transnational jihadists to carry out deadlier and more strategically targeted attacks,it said.Though the timing is uncertain,India is likely to witness another large-scale attack on its soil that will once again escalate cross-border tensions,Stratfor warned.India had refrained from taking a more militaristic response against Pakistan after the Mumbai attacks, which Stratfor had criticized, saying that a lack of response was far more dangerous than the threat of escalation, which was the argument UPA had given then.Stratfor believes that the UPA government was too soft, but that if the BJP comes to power there was a greater expectation of a stronger response to Pakistan."India is more likely to deliver a forceful response to future attacks should the BJP emerge victorious in these elections,"it said.Stratfor said "India was watching fearfully as the jihadist insurgency in neighbouring Pakistan has spread to India's doorstep".THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE TO NDA.

Why Indians are QUITTING only Hinduism and not other religions?
by New York on Apr 18, 2009 09:38 PM  | Hide replies

Hinduism is a COVERT mask for Casteism which intrinsically seeds HATRED in your Children (e.g.VARUN GANDHI).

Hinduism's is a hierarchical-based irrational system of keeping one CASTE (Brahmins?) over everyone else.

In America there is no system in place today that forces people to remain separate or keeps one class subservient to another.
If you were born the son of a street sweeper, but excelled, you could become a doctor or lawyer or some celebrity or entrepreneur - and at the same time you would be fully accepted by your peers.

Not so in India. The caste system freezes everyone in place. It is extremely difficult - almost impossible - for someone from the lowest caste to rise in education and social status.

A Dalit would never be allowed to marry into one of the higher castes and would never be accepted as an equal.
And for a Dalit to make it into MEDICAL school or opening a RESTAURANT or become a PRIEST in a temple or become a member of high SOCIETY in India is very rare indeed.

Only by escaping from the grasp of Hinduism do they have much of a chance.
FINALLY you must only vote for candidates from your CASTE till 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE or INTER-FAITH.

I pity your understanding and lack of reality.

Brahmins are yesteryear's Dalits. Mayawati is one of biggest contender for PM. Her qualification: Her Dalit caste and hate for others. So-called BC's control the political power. Why you think Lalu, Mulayam, Paswan are kings and king makers?

Today, Dalits enjoy unparalleled privileges even they have been discriminated enormously in past. No country provides reservation quotas in jobs, promotions, loans, admission and even seats in parliament and assemblies.

BTW, stop day dreaming about America. It's not caste here, it's skin color. Ask anyone non-white. They'll tell you discrimination although it's not as blunt and intense as in India.

Stay in India and enjoy your privileged birth in Dalit caste. You wouldn't be able to survive here for a day.

You are right but you can't get anything by begging. You have to shed blood. The upper caste are ready to shed blood, the blood of lower castes and tribals. The stupid lower castes and tribals are not ready to do anything but beg and cry. You got to fight for your right. Nothing comes for free.

COMMUNNIST WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AGAINST THIS INJUSTICE. BUT LOOK AT THE COMMUNIST LEADERSHIP. IT IS FULL OF BRAHMINS & UPPERCAST. ALSO LOOK AT THE LEADERS OF SO CALLED DALIT CLASS. THEY ARE NOW THE BRAHMINS OF DALITS, EXPLOITING THEM MAXIMUM. RAM VILAS PASWAN DIVORCED HIS DALIT WIFE & MARRIED A BRAHMIN GIRL. A PERSON WHO SOULD NOT DO ANY GOOD TO HIS DALIT WIFE, WHAT GOOD HE CAN DO TO OTHER DALITS. LOOK AT MAYAVATI, HER PARTY IS FILLED WITH BRAHMINS NOW, THE VERY SAME PEOPLE WHO MAYAVATI WAS AGAINST.

For your information brahmins come 7th in the forward caste list of Tamilnadu!
SCs/STs have all kinds of reservation(education, appointment in govt jobs, promotion) but the questions is who get them?
Do you know that the forward caste person is afraid to even do his duty if it may affect a SC/ST or a BC! The law is such that even a false case saying that the person called him/her by caste name is enough to get a transfer/suspension/imprisonment?
Don't forget Mr.K.R. Narayanan. He was the president of India.
In India if you have money you have everything. But if you have just your caste you can go forward atleast a little if you are not a 'FORWARD' caste!
As for your first point don't forget talibans knocking at the doorsteps.

This is Indian Caste System
by ravi indian on Apr 18, 2009 03:47 PM

Archana
This is very sad that you are wearing the same spectacles like other media persons. Tell me one thing, will you name any state in India where this caste system is not existing. I am from the state which is most developed one (it is really developed). But here after this so called development we still have powerful caste system, in a recent survey it showed that 60 percent people of this state is favouring caste over development for voting.

Look at Andhra Pradesh Chirangivi is contesting only because of dominance of Kapu caste in Andhra Pradesh. What is reddy there?

In Karnataka 'what is Lingayat and Vokkaliga'

In kerala Namboodiris,Pohttys,Nairs,Ambalavasis

In Tamil Nadu why Verrapan was safe in the jungle for so many years only because of his Banniyar vote bank from which he was related to.

In Maharashtra What is Thakrey, Joshi, Ambedkar, More, etc.

In Madhya Pradesh what is Rathod, Srivastava, Patidar, Chouhan, etc.

In Rajasthan Rajputs, Jat, Gurjars are dominant.

In Haryana Jat, Jatav, Sharma etc.

I was surprised to know that Dalits are also in Sikh religion.

In this country called India & Pakistan Muslims have there own caste like Ansari, Julaha. In Pakistan people love to called themselves Rajput, Jat. What is choudhary, Rana there, they are Rajputs.

How can you seperate your self from this caste system which is the basic system of this country. There is only one solution for this casteism i.e. use suffix "Bhartiya" "Bharti" or "Indian".

abolision of caste system
by ggvenkatraman on Apr 18, 2009 01:49 PM  | Hide replies

I agree with Janardhan , the reservation system should be on economic system, not on caste, since in OBC, SC lot of rich people are there.do not give reservation again and again.this reservation starts in TN state since dravidians party are anti brahamins, anti hindus, anti hindi, because of color racisams since brahamins and north indians are white and tamils are black people, this color complextion well used by dravidian party to come to power to power, also language as a toll.
hence i request supreme court not to accept caste based reservations, also some political party issued reservation to muslims, this is most dangerous, even political party is telling do not be in hindu convert to muslims.and dalit christine dalit muslims, these are the fancy names invented by political party to attain power.
hence please abolish caste system in reservations.
