Parliament is SUPREME, because they are answerable/accountable 1,129,866,154 Indians.
Supreme Court is SECONDARY, because * They are answerable/accountable ONLY to the litigants. * They cannot solve kashmir problem, * They cannot decide income tax rate, * They cannot create/review/refine/rewrite any law.
Supreme Court should not even decide the optimum train/bus fare rate in India.
And Parliament decides the salaries of Judges and not the other way round.

Constitution maker were aware of the fact that the politicians will play all tricks to get the voters in their favor even at the cost of country's welfare, so they empowered the courts & fortunately they are doing well but still require lots of improvement to establish their credibility.
