I WISH ALL THE BEST
by Khadir on Apr 16, 2009 11:20 AM

First I wish all the best for Mr.Jayaprakash narayan.
But small apprehention.
In tamilnadu when MGR started the party he started with noble ideas only.
After some time the circumstances force him to be in power.
Unfortunately to be in power requires many compromises on principles.
I am not finding fault on the individal , unfortunately the environment forces them.
Many are having this kind of noble ideas.
What we need is a strategy to attain the goal without compromise (or atleast only very little compormise)
Any how I wish Mr Jayaprakash Narayan suceed.

Analysis show Cong and UPA is best fit to rule the Nation
Here dependent variable considered as national parties(y)
Independent variable considered as People of the country(x)
Regression line analysis provides estimates of the dependent variable for a given value of the independent variable. The regression line is called the best fitted in the sense of minimizing the sum of squared errors.(least squares estimation) The best fitted line shows the relationship between the independent (x) and dependent (y) variables better than any other line. For developing the measure of the goodness of fit, we will first examine the variation in y. Let us try the variation in the response y. since y depends of x, if we change x then y will also change. In other words a part of variation in y is accounted by the variation in x’s .We can mathematically show that When R(regression line) negative, it means that y decreases as x increase and when R positive that is y increases when x increases. Thus R (regression line) gives a measure of strength of the relationship between the variables x and y. Now, the natural question is how large should this R be in order for the fit very good. There is a formal statistical test based on F distribution which can be used to test R is significantly large or not. But as a thumb rule we may say that if R is greater that 0.9, the fit is very good, if it is between 0.6 to 0.8, the fit is moderate and if it less than 0.5 it is not good(i.e called game number)

I cannot believe that still we have a person to suppport congress after seeing congress vote scam in parliament... Tell me one simple thing my dear friend what congress have done for the past 48 years rule and we still see people are dying in every parts of country out of hunger... Dont you feel this is pathetic... Still do you support congress. I am not saying that BJP is very good party... However, compared to congress, BJP is far better party....Dont think in communal lines when you are voting... If it is so there is no big difference between congress and BJP as congress supports mus1ims and BJP supports h1ndus... So think from development angle... We have given 48 years of oppurtunity to congress and still they have done nothing... Now let us give some chance to BJP who have just got 5 years of chance.... and still performed well...

doesn't have a clue what or whom to vote for.
A presidential rule is better than this money-wasting exercise to elect a fool by majority fools.

We'd still need to elect house of representatives in a presidential system. The same exercise of electing 542 (or whatever number) of reps for lower house.

Best of Luck to the LSP. Hope they would win a few seats and stick to their principles. We have seen many a party not sticking to their agenda after coming to power. Hope LSP is an exception.

Not able to enroll in electoral Rolls
by Jas on Apr 16, 2009 10:48 AM  | Hide replies

In our entire block of flats we hardly have one person from each family whose names made it to electoral rolls - event that with too many mistakes.

WHAT IS THE USE OF JAAGO RE?
When it has become Impossible for HONEST people to get their names in Electoral Rolls????

Bangladeshi Illegal Migrants are in Electoral Rolls - because CPM wants them there, but HONEST PEOPLE are NOT.

JAAGO RE is a big JOKE.

Jas....I am sorry mate, but you have to blame yourselves for this.
You should have done this on your own, I know it is very cumbersome dealing with govt. agencies.
But, I did it for 1000 plus voters in my constituency, it took me one year to finish the task.
India will miss your vote....

Hope it gets at least two seats so that they can voice their thoughts in Assembly.
If they get one parliament seat that would be like great achievement.
I hope by next elections it would become major praty atleast in AP if not national party

We need Loksatta style party in Mumbai and in North India
by Vivek Chandra on Apr 16, 2009 10:39 AM

We need honest people and honest parties with modern outlooks. All we get here is corrupt Congress or communal and corrupt BJP or even more corrupt regional parties. We need fresh air, free of corruption.

I am glad that Dr Jai Prakash is striving to ensure education for all with emphasis on english language and computers. He has got his priorities right for Andhra Pradesh and for the whole country. Let usvote him to power before we lose another term to opportunists.
