No responsible indian citizen will say things in Pakistan that offend every other Indian and then change stand when it becomes politically inconvenient with his/her party.

Bala, PC has not into the issue whether it was right or wrong to release the terrorists in 1999. He is questioning Advnai's claim that he was not aware of the Govt decision to release terrorists. How he can say that holding a No.2 position in the Govt.?

We have B-I-C-H-W-A-L-E to support NDA..where did you get your surgery done, against Pseudos?
The current PM and the could-be PM are behaving like kids in a schoolyard brawl. It is impossible to predict what each would have done in others situation. If these pseudo-statesmen started to pretend to be statesmen it would be for everybody's welfare.

When Mehbooba Mufti was kidnapped, Rajiv Gandhi was the leader of opposition. It was VP Singh Govt at the Centre & not Congress. Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was himself the Home Minister.

Pyare:
So you mean to say that Kaangress has been in the habit of keeping absolutely quiet when the kidnap happens, and terrorists released.... and then wake up as responsible opposition after decades have passed?... :) I mean, you've just almost proved that this is the trend with them.... ;-)

You are a convenient liar. The whole Kashmir issue started with that dim-wit (humne dekha hai, hum jeetenge ya loosengay!) called Rajiv Gandhi, who ousted an elected Farooq Abdullah, because he could not stomach a non-congress government, or a government that did not have any truck with the Congress. LISTEN MISTER, and I am addressing you as MISTER, you have been peddling your half-truth and lies right thru this discussion. Farooq Abdullah was hounded, physically pushed around in city after city by Congress goons, as he went around seeking support from the opposition to have his government re-installed. Kashmiris were closely bonded with the Abdullah family, because they reflected the love-hate relationship of Kashmiris with the rest of India. When Dr. Farooq Abdullah finally threw in the towel, and went over to the Congress on their terms, the Kashmiris regarded it as a sell-out, a betrayal. THAT's when the rage of Kashmiris was translated into terrorism.
Listen, you STUPID HALF-WIT, I have not bothered to address your inane remarks. Now please go home, and stay quiet.

Pyare Mohan...you are 200% correct! Chidambaram must realise that safety of public comes first. Terrorists can be nabbed if his home ministry is efficient but if so many lives lost....can he attempt to bring them alive. he is a total idiot!!!
Advani never misses any opportunity to term MMS as a weak PM. Now he claims that as a Home Minister in 1999 he was not a party to the decision to release the terrorists during Kandhar hijack & he was not aware of the fact that the External Affairs Minister would accompany the terrorists to Kandahar. So how strong was Advani as a Home Minister & what we can can expect from him as a Prime Minister?
Did you guys read how US handled the pirates? The European liberals made all kind of laws by which pirates can not be handled with toughness. How come the whole western world that is so powerful and flexes its musscles can not control pirtaes from a rag tag country? I applaud the way US navy went and rescued the American captain. Obam has sent a strong message. Obama is sensible and worls with common sense. But the prev leaders were all dumb and lost their common sense. They attack people who should not attacked and the ones they should attack get financial aid. That was the problem with the US.

Exactly. Sonia gandhi was provoking the relatives of the victims to create a drama because of which the Hijackers raised their ransom. Congress was with the hijackers at that time. Their aim was to topple the NDA GOVT at anty cost.what ever one might say about BJP , i crisis they always acted as responsible opposition.
