MMS, the 'Prime Minister' of India should be declared the Man of the Match. He's been playing so well, screwing up India, doing a better job than even Pakistan would have thought of.
On second thoughts, it should be Woman of the Match, Sonia Gandhi, the Puppetteer, with no commitment to this country, except to see what she, her parents family, and her children can bag out of this.

Home Minister P Chidamabaram on Wednesday said he too might have done what the BJP-led NDA did during the IC-814 hijacking and it was not easy to predict how a decision-maker would behave in a certain situation.
“It is easy to criticise, but difficult to take decisions,” he said at a function in the capital, asked whether the government would adopt a “no negotiation policy” with terrorists.
“I can’t say. I really can’t say. How would I have behaved if families of 150 people came to me and pleaded for the lives of their loved ones,” the home minister said. The decision of the then NDA government to release terrorists in exchange of passengers of the hijacked IC-184 plane remains a point of criticism for the ruling Congress to which Chidamabaram belongs.
“If one takes ten decisions, one or two may go wrong. Show me a man who has not taken a wrong decision and I will show you a man who has taken no decision ever,” Chidambaram said.
Chidambaram said as home minister he had resolved to take decisions unmindful of what others felt or said. “I have been 50 days in the office. There is another 100 days to go for this government. I do not look over my shoulder time

Let's see, Bombay 26/11, it happened in the last century under the British, right?
Policies of congress are responsible for many insurgencies in India. It was during congress rule kashmir militancy started. It was congress's policy to ignore North-East for their much desreved development and result is for everyone to see...how many seperatists are thriving in North-east ?. It was congress's policy to mess in Tamil issue in Srilanka and Rajiv got killed. Not to mention punjab insurgency. What congress have done to control population over 60 years ??. How much money congress filled in their coffers in licence Raj era ?. When country was about to get bankrupt then they brough economic liberalization...why it wasnt brought before it when China opened its economy in 80s ?. 70,000 POWs wer e released in Bangladesh's war and in exchange of what ?. And remember it was congress's communal nature before independence, Muslim league alienated and demanded seperate country. See Asif Iqbal on wikipedea,who is co-founder of pakistan and why he started to beleive why they should have seperate country. The reason for india's slumdog status is a bright as sun and it is only misrule of congress.
After seeing all the discussion I found that we are doing exactly what these politicans want us to do .... just cribbing ... cribbing anf cribbing ... frieds they both are same ... wether its BJP or Congress but again its our bad luck that we need to choose one of them. So I would suggest just keep the development of infrastructure in the respective states and how the education ,poverty,security is goin gon their state and then think which party is governing better in their respective states. Moreover also compare the Congress and BJP on above points by keeping in mind that Congress has been in power for abt 60yrs and what they have achieved and BJP had governed only for around 6yrs. And I personally feels that in BJP had delivered much better than congress in 60yrs.This is my personal thinking and may not be yours and there is no point on arguing on this :-) . Lets we all vote for better tomorrow.
when there are CRIMINAL cases pending against Advani in Pakistan. It is like Dawood Ibrahim asking Pakistan Prime minister, Yousaf Raza Gilani for a debate.
Or atleast the most they can talk while campaigning is what they did for the people who voted for them. The way the parties are campaigning very much shows that they are only or 90% of their campaigning time, are talking about other parties.
also CEC should allow the parties to give money and other stuff legally.. may be that is the only time people get something from the politicians, so why waste that.

You are bang on, Aravind K. I guess we have internalised that Politics is just business, and the way some of these creatures have multiplied their reported assets in 5 years by leaps and bounds from 16 odd crores to 124crores (and that is the official declared figure!) the pretence of serving the people has been buried. But still, some kind of window-dressing is needed. And so all these side-issues of Kandahar, and what not.
And, of course, we are caught up in it, trying to throw our verbal jabs and punches, forgetting altogether we are supposed to be Indians. Now, that seems to be the plan of the politicians; they have, on both sides, succeeded in their plans.

its very much like a game played by politicians like... who gets more fools.
News is that Harvard has recently sent a notice to chidu to prove his common sense or else surrender his harvard degree. This guy is talking like an average congressi dumbo. Pray tell me, what is the difference between chidu, mayawati, mulayam and lalu prasad?

Attack on Parliament = BJP ineptitude. Not hanging Afzal Guru the mastermind despite Supreme Court orders = Humanity and Political dilemma.
BJP questioning Islam = Communal. Congress questioning Lord Ramas existance = Clerical Error.
200 Indian lives were saved in Kandahar while more then200 Indian lives were lost in Mumbai. Also the NDA was forced to release 3 terrorist to save 200 Indian life whereas the UPA released 3 terrorists to free Mehbooba Mufti ( a Paki by heart). There are not enough intelligent people in the BJP to counter argue Kandahar incident in this way. Even now the Congress is trying to shield Afzal Guru and Kasab. Of course the biased media favours the Congress

The difference between Kandhar and Rubia Sayeed is only one in Kandhar compromise hundreds of commoners lives were involved while in the other a single VIP.I am afraid what would have been the language of the SYCOPHANTS if in the kandhar flight Rahul Gandhi our the Vaderas would have been there. BJP need not go on defensive on Kandhar issue. Can you compare the qualitative difference in Indian scenario if impotent people like Shivraj Patil Manmohan etc are replaced by Modi Advani Arun Jaitly Sushma Swaraj are at the helm. UPA have to thrown out
