What British used to do years back, Congress is doing the same today. They simply didn't deliver the goods in last 60 years and today they are not capable of winning election of its own. Congress has a option of giving leadership to some strong person outside Gandhi family and let it grow as a party and deliver results. They are not doing that. At the same time they are applying divide and rule policy (for which British are known) among the regional parties so that they cannot unite together and form a strong govt. But with this policy they cannot go long way. Pretty soon people of India will turn it into an irrelevant party in Indian politics.

Are the people of India that vulnerable? It was the British and Muslim League that partitioned India. Both are nowhere - anglicans a very poor minority and ML also minority although they claim to be Indian Union Muslim League and tied up with Congress
Yesterday Deccan chargers played capec cobra in a warm up match in pretoria. After the match the telugu association in pretoria felicitated the DC team!!
To become even more SECULAR, we must provide 50% reservations for Muslims and 50% reservations for Christians.
MMS said minorities have first right on country's resources and allocated 15% of funds exclusively for minorities. That is the right step in the right direction.
Congress will definitely come to power again and 100% funds will be allocated exclusively for minorities. This way India will remain the most SECULAR country in the planet.

for ur kind info.. the reservation was up to only yr 2000. it was bajpai only who extended it till 2010. why this bull shit if not a politics of vote bank.... Few duffers here who dont know ABCD but will comment to show their "GR8" knowledge.
Last night my friend Dr.Ravindranath Kennedy and I have done astrological predictions on the 2009 Lok Sabha Elections and here are our predictions;
UPA - 127
NDA - 167
III Front - 156
Others - 93
Even though NDA is the largest alliance, it is the III Front that will form the Govt with others support. Some of them would join the Govt also.
In our reckoning Prakash Karat has the brightest chances to become the PM as he being the leader of a nationalist non-person oriented party leader will have the best acceptance. Others want to neutralise each other from becoming the PM and all will accept Prakash Karat as the PM. CPM will keep in mind Jyoti Basus comment of historic blunder and this time will not shy away from forming the Govt by joining the Govt-rather form the Govt

Ho chuka phie India ka bhala.I'm not with either Cong or BJP,but it is better if either of this form a stable govt.

A person like Prakash Karat is very much required for India as PM. He's well educated, very principled and of course free from all types of corruption.

one person cannot do anything...he needs a team...which the third front does not have....there will be another election in next 6 months if third front comes to power..

Dont say more. " Last night " is enough
All public shld come together & kick out these politicians... there shld be a movement started by common people ( imean citizens of India)against these politicians..
consequence of such vast polarisation of votes is a hung, unstable government and too much of horsetrading by the so called regional and smaller parties. Neither the national nor the regional agenda will get pushed. So voters must decide between two large parties and give one of them sufficient majority so that the winner can pursue with an agenda for 5 years. Regional or smaller parties will have to align with the biggies. This I feel, will help in the regional parties developing policies and priorities which are also in sync with the national party
