He is rigt,he is only telling that we need 10 years for hindus poors to be eradicated.
He may not have oratory skill like others but he perform .He has given India two most valuable gifts 1. 1991 economic liberisation under able leadership of late PM P.V.Narsimha Rao which has given all round development in India irrespective of any Gov came during last 18 years .Our foreign exchange reserves rose to 250 billion dollers from 1 billion doller in 1991 2. Civil nuclear deal in 2008 which will push further developments in energy sectors .
What more people of India need at this hour of financial crisis.kwxq3

Your information is wrong as credit should go actually to PVN,MMS and Atalji who gave also a tacit support for 1991 decession .1991 reform is enough to stimulus Indian growth .You will see further growth with this nuclear deal in 2008

How else do you explain that despite them ruling India for 55 plus years, poverty still needs ONLY 10 years to get eradicated, never mind two dozen poverty eradication programmes and election calls for "aam aadmi".... :)
BTW, the 1991 reforms were nothing but directives from IMF and World Bank.... similar to the directives from George Bush in 2008, for which even the Left front was kicked out unceremoniously .... :) How else do you explain no action on this front for 4.5 years by the government which "suddenly" woke up to push further development in energy sectors?... ;-)

I think you keep very feeble memory my dear AP .PVN as PM and MMS as FM from 1991 to 1995 never took any loan from IMF and world bank but still India amased 140 billion doller foregm exchange reserves when Congress Gov completed the 5 year term

I fully endorse your views as a most healthy discussions so far we have .The need of the hour is 70 % of rural India needs developments further to push economy in shape and for that with out blaming anybody ,we must give some concrete idea as how to do that .I like Mr Kapoor idea to bring money from swiss bank to India amd In this regards I feel next Gov should do some real measures so that at least 50% money come to India and invest in all sectors including EQ

Dear, we have been enjoying the life for the last couple of years with the money I borrowed from the money lender. I am unable to repay the loan. So I decided to sell the house and we are to leave our home to a rented building. Our PM is asking for ten years to make India a paradise. Yes, he will take MEGA LOANS and feed the people with all luxuries. But he may not be in the chair of PM to answer the people just like the FATHER. We can only moan for our fate! Indians are to rise up to organize for the next struggle for independence.

It is common to accuse against party or opponents of ruling party, there is no surprise if BJP, BSP, SP accuse Manmohan Singh, Oppositiion means always they oppose to every thing even they opposed to nuclear deal for which they were looking for at their ruling time. Priminister Manmohan Singh is a great personality, a well educated leader & if we compare to Advani then MMS is a day light and Advani is a Dark night.
