single industry or multiple markets
by Devdutt Nayak on Apr 11, 2009 12:47 PM

An Indo-Pak war or Hindu Muslim riots would mean that the country is not a good market for making or selling technology gadgets. An economic hit of that size would mean the death of a market of a billion potential buyers.
This was ok for the Bush administration because their family has ties with the Gold Oil and Drugs syndicates and they have nothing to lose in a burning planet or a burning India. They dont even have the brains that their own people might rebel when the situation becomes so bad as it became in US.

It is up to the non-Satanic corporations (evil is at least manageable, *extreme Satanic* is simply not sustainable) to protect their own interests in global markets and stop the wolves from attacking the village.

If over 2 billion people (asia, africa, china) cannot and do not buy things, what will you sell, and to whom?

Disposable income is the need of the hour not disposable people.

Take L'Aquila for instance. Those could well be disposable people if Berlusconi ignores the people like they have been for decades.

And it could snowball into a huge protest too.

The people of Italy are just like the people of any other country.

But the rulers of Italy....well!

Is Ruling Party arrogant?
by deep d on Apr 11, 2009 12:42 PM  | Hide replies

Arrogance of ruling party just because they have assured vote bank on caste and faith basis is very dangerous for the democracy. Al I must say this is not a good sign. We are torned democracy rather than democratic country.

Instead of accusing congress about muslim vote bank all the time the saffron parties should think as to why minorities are not with them. What is the problem of minorities with them?

It seems that H1ndus are the main problem in India for the X'tians and Mus1ims. Let them ask their Italian Super PM to dumb all H1ndus into Arabian Sea or Bay or Bengal or still better send them all into some "Gas Chamber" like Hitler did to the Jews in Germany so that all Mus1ims and X'tians can live peacefully.

My Preference
by sanath on Apr 11, 2009 12:36 PM

Manmohan Singh, no doubt, is the best qualified person to lead the country (though I would not say the same for the Congress as a party), but my preference would be Shri. Manmohan Singh as PM minus the Gandhis.

I would love to have him as the PM and not as a regent who keeps safe custody of the chair until the ruler-in-waiting comes of age !

Mukesh could you tell me what your RSS manifesto tells about women ? It tell don't believe woman, don't educate woman, don't empower woman ! Is is right ? What your brahmin or your vedas and upanishad says , is it not same as above. Yes it is ? In Islam women have every right for education, but what is going in Afghanistan and Pakistans some area its Talibans self applied law it is not Islamic law. Muslims reject that Taliban law.

Then what abt Saudi which is epicenter of Islam? Do you have guts and courage to say you are rejecting saudi principles and what followed in Saudi is not Islam?
In another verdict recently in Saudi court refused to entertain petition of divorce filed by mother of 8 year old girl who married 56 year old man stating it is legal. Further now a group of mullahs in Saudi are demanding the removal of first woman minister appointed stating woman don't have right to take up such jobs.

Recently in India triple talaq through sms send by chand mohamed is validated by your clergy.
You ignorant people are issuing fatwa to sania mirza for her dressing....Do you expect her play tennis with burqa?lol...
Iam not a supporter of RSS. But why you are telling lie about RSS which never had a word denying the right of woman's education.
It is your mullahs who need to be blamed for all these mess...what happened to benazir in pakisthan...She was eliminated only bcaz she was a woman...

Water, you really asking dumb questions. I am sure you know as little abotu RSS manifesto as me. But I know that women were educated even during Vedic ages, and the Vedas never refused rights for education to women. Contradict me if you can.

And whats with the 4-wife theory? I have heard enough silly arguments, you wanna give me some more? ;)

Forget RSS, talk about H1ndus. H1ndus dont have to wear ugly black clothes in the middle of summer. Some guys beating women in pubs - we give a damn about them. They dont even make up for 1% of us.

You can RULE India for $700 million.
by New York on Apr 11, 2009 11:34 AM  | Hide replies

* Total voters = 700 million
* Votes needed to win = 350 million
Since as per BBC, 80% Indians live on 20 rupees a day, you can BUY or BRIBE a vote for $2.
