Bagdad's send off treatment to Mr.Bush has been becomming more popular as our political leadership has reached such a state of statesmanship bankruptcy.I doubt in the event the who hurled shoe at Mr. Jindal as confessed by Mr.Jindal was in the abriated stage then it must be the services of great Congressmen who must of served it before the rally. GREAT PEOPLE are CONGRESS MEN under the leadeship of Congress's her mejesty Italian Gandhi.
One wonders why supporters of George Bush, P.Chidambaram, and Naveen Jindal keep quiet instead of breaking the thrower`s leg and hands right then and there ! The only reason and right one at that why UPA/Congress etc. may lose is that they shrank back from taking any action boldly and quickly, even when the whole nation was with them. Where were Congress/SP/BSP/CPI primary members apart from police of other States, when Narendra Modi was slaughtering Muslims in Gujarat or when Advani.MM Joshi, Uma Bharti/Togadia/Katiyar were berthin the nucleus of terrorism and communal hatred by Babri Masjid demolition ? The corruption is absolutely everywhere including govt.departments, police, judiciary, business and all places. Let us start punishing the shoe throwers severely, to be followed by taking similar actions for any other lawless/illegal/criminal act or talks. After all, police encounters have always provided a quick, just and absolutely reasonable justice and that model needs to be imitated by all.

You are woefully unaware of human rights, and the right of dissent. and to actually justify police encounters- pure immature thinking!

Very right akshaya. In the same token, where were the Congress leaders when Congressmen were slaughtering the Sikhs in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, CPI(M) goons were slaughtering innocent villagers in Nandigram, Naxalites slaughtering all and sundry all over India! Food for thought indeed!

Very correct. All these shoe throwers should be dealt with strictly. Firstly there legs should be broken so that they can't wear these shoes for long time. Time 2 set an example.
What is going to happen to Indian people, why they r behave like this? R pepole of India r frustrated with politican or any other reason? It's the need of the hour to change this dirty system.

Congress has led the country in the last 5 years to become a potential economic superpower. A country which the whole world is looking upto. Given the constraints they had from the commies i think they did a decent job. It seems we Indians love whining.... I will vote for the congress as it is the only true secular party in the country that can keep India together. Jai Hind!
The politicians need only this kind of treatment. After winning election they never show their face till the next election. In the five years they only enjoy 5* facilities from the tax payers money. If they are honest why are they not putting at Swiss Banks to declare the names of the tax evaders who have kept thousands of cores Rupees. Or why they are not hanging Afzal Guru? The killers of Indira Gandhi were hanged. Was Indira Gandhi bigger than Parliament. Ask the families who gave their life to save these Politicians. But inspite of the order of Supreme Court they are still waiting for what. To one day hand him over to Pakistan as a good will gesture to establish friendly relations with that country. As no politicians was hurt they are not hanging him. Suppose he would have been successful in his mission and killed few big leaders would they have kept him alive. Shame on these politicians.

Did you not yet realize that shoe=throws bring a lot of free publicity to both the thrower and the target ? Soon, people may get paid for throwing shoes, for the sake of getting publicity. But, in these Terrorist-infested days, a shoe may carry a bomb also, in which case all press conferences, meetings etc. will have to be attended bare foot by invitees.
