In every election, people votes against the current ruling party. Eventhough Jayalalitha had a vison of Making tamilnadu as a number one state in India, she has to withdrew due to the election. If previous ruling period would have been for 10+ years instead of 5 years, Jayalaitha would have done everything without worrying about election and would have brought TN as Number 1.
Jaya is not defeated. It is a defeat to Tamilians' peace and developments. It will not last long. Miracle maker will show an another miracle soon and save us from the arugancy. The vote bank improvement in Chennai city shows the development of good name among the scholars. She missed the alliance - the first reason for this failure.
As we analyse the election result, the People from the District(Kanyakumari) where the highest number of literates in TN have voted against AIADMK. As the people become educated, it becomes tougher for AIADMK. She needs to also support all kinds of people not taking revenge on anyone. Every one is aware that gov employees have voted against AIADMK and it is also evident that it is going to be a real fate for gov employees if AIADMK comes to power again. It is this fear all over TN which made AIADMK to lose. Jayalalitha has also anounced that DMK government will not lost for a long time. This is a poor spirit of a polititian who wishes to come back again. If she thinks about people rather than thinking about how to destroy the government, she could make it for the next time. I wish Vijayakanth who has a great future in TN politics. At least he could win a seat standing at his own leg.
She has morally not lost, it is evident from the percentage of votes polled for ADMK &DMK.It is only due to Karunanidi's political brilliance and work done by him by attracting all other parties towards him for the past 5 years.Also the 'Free' manifesto,for which the same TN people are going to pay thru taxes, made the trick.
She had to pay back for what she had done to Kanchi Mutt . She may have problems with the Sankaracharya. But to put him in jail despite any proof of his involvement , shows her character and she deserves stricter punishment. She is herself a criminal in not attending the special court in Bangalore.
hi all i see many messages saying that hindus voted against jayalalitha for arresting snkaracharya. some say christians and muslims voted against her for anti-conversion law. iam puzzled to see this comments. can somebody explain then how she got the 38% of votes polled. for all of them i would like to tell sankaracharya never matters to voters. she lost because people are not happy with the government. so please dont link sankaracharya to jayalalitha's defeat. it is people's verdict not kanchi mutt's verdict.
