Shameful Act of Jharkhand Governer
by Anand Mohan Bajpai on Mar 03, 2005 03:07 PM

Its really shamefull to see the so called democratic
values our leaders have. What has happend in Jharkhand
is not less then taking power by Musharraf in Pakistan and it becomes more serious when it is done in the name of democracy. Is this the democracy for which our great leaders fought for several years. And it this the case then there is no meaning of election, mejority, voting in the house etc because now the governers will decide whom to elect and how.

sir, ithe bjp has no moral right to form gvt. in jharkhand having lost seats it held earlier.it is buying independents and others.goernor's action can be negatived by assembly like in case of nitish kumar.let's wait for trial of strength in the assembly.bjp was earlier shining:it may smile now.but right now it has nothing to look forward.assembly elections next year will make that clear.jug

It's a matter of shame for whole nation that Governmants of states are formed and dislodged in such unconstitutional manner. Goa and Zarkhand are examples of Autocratic Democracy we are living in.

I m not much interested in political news but what happened yesterday was really horrible. How can such a responsible man (Governer) do this sort of heinous act. I m badly deplored bcoz of this kind of derision of indian constitution.

Ashwani K Sharma
very bad example
by Ashwani K Sharma on Mar 03, 2005 11:52 AM

Congress leadership must realise the possible fallout of such crude attempts to dislodge the constitutional methods.Hope it remembers its rout after emergengy.People will not take such steps lying down.

Now NDA has the experience of running the affairs of the nation also,so Congress will have to out of power for much longer time.

The issue is not whether congress remains in power or not and such action leave bad taste in peoples mind ,set bad example for fututre politcs and dent the image of our nation.

What UPA is doing in jharkhand & had done previously in Goa is a shewd way of politics.
I wud like to request the honourable president to intervene and avoid such a grim situation to happen in future & reinstate indias' position as world's largest & fair democracy.
