WHY BJP IS SMILING
by SUNIL DUTT MALHOTRA on Mar 03, 2005 06:02 PM  | Hide replies

BJP is smiling because Congress is using their term "FEEL GOOD". It means that congress will not be there after five years, like BJP.

BJP should take a lesson from Sonia ji that she has not taken any Rath Yatra (like Mr. Advani) to befool the public for her vote bank. She and her party has won the election without any "Temple" manifesto.

I think Sonia ji is now an Indian and not a foreigner and can be a next PM.

E bhai. What are you saying? A person who is born (this is not an issue) and BROUGHT UP (this is an issue) in some other country without any interaction with India cannot, typically, be an Indian, except if she decides to marry the powers-that-be.
They didn't have temple manifesto written on paper. But actually, they didn't have any manifesto at all. They picked up BJP's 15-year-ago temple manifesto and shouted negatively at them. They took BJP's recent feel-good factor claims and shouted negatively at them. So, they didn't win because of any positive virtues but because they were able to find faults with BJP's work and shout it out with great help from the biased media.
They didn't talk of the building a temple but they did warn of mosques being destroyed and a particular section of soceity is always hungry for such thoughts and hurry to vote for anyone who they think will protect their mosques, even if those mosques were built on temples destroyed by their forefathers.
Even after living in India for 25 years (22 years as a citizen - she didn't apply for Indianhood the first three years of marriage), she cannot speak any Indian language. Her English is pathetic, too.

Well, that is how Indian she is. If she could not adapt in so many years, how do you think she will adapt now to Indian conditions?
I also notice that you write "Mr. Advani" but "Sonia ji". I thought circuses in India were on the line of extinction.

Congress should immediately stop keeping photos of Mahatma Gandhi in their meetings, offices.Mahatma never went running for power. He was for sacrifice. In 58 years every day Congress have gone in opposite direction from high philosophy of Gandhiji. In Jharkhand and Bihar ,Congress is in pity.In Karnataka Congress never accepted the people's verdict .

Unfortunate

It is unfortunate that the office of the Governor has been reduced to a pitiable & partisan situation like this. This is high time the President interferes and restore the dignity and honour of our democracy. I appreciate the maturity of BJP in resorting to mindless violence as compared to some of the UPA partners. I am sure these petty politicians / minds will fall under the mantle of Truth .

Real murder of democracy
by Lalchand Sharma on Mar 03, 2005 03:55 PM

By using the position and power of governor as puppet , congress is really murdering the democracy in India.
It will certainly a benifit for the BJP in the future course of action.
