Mahatma Gandhi is the father of the nation....how could you publish an articly by an illiterate saffron organization candidate...these people are as bad as the al quaeda. And the woman justifies the killing of Gandhi ??? This is ridiculous and makes me very very mad.....its people like these and the NCP party that stand in india's way of progressing.. I am a proud indian but I am a muslim , not a hindu...

When BJP came into power they realized that you can not rule this country by being a champion of only one community. And you can not always question the patriotism of another community. What happened to them is that the reality of governing India hit them. It is very easy to be in opposition cause all you have to do is create trouble, and recite tough soundbites, the tougher, more bitter and bigoted, the better. That gets you noticed and stirs up peoples' passions. But when you are in power it is a whole different ball game, as BJP realized by its actions, or inactions, in Gujarat.
The question for us is, should Indians who wish to see India progress tolerate this poisonous rhetoric from ANY community or political leader who want to make a mark?
