I get the distinct impression that your correspondents don't do any home work before they approach a subject. And they don't choose their subject well..or choose them for controversial reasons.
Himani is obviously enamoured of Godse and Savarkar. However...from the interview it does not seem clear she has studied Savarkar as he should be studied...impartially and critically. Indeed this has been the bane all round with respect to all leaders...in this country.
Also..the quality of questions asked is very poor.
Its sad..but there is really very little to comment on ...in this interview...except to say that home work must be done...and an interview be made worthwhile.
If political candidates are a mirror of society, then we are really doomed. But the fact is that the moderates in society are not coming forward to plunge into the madness of politics and hence the rot continues.

Himani Saverker told the facts, she is totally right. she is brave. she clear all the misunderstanding anout hindutva. after reading her thinking , i think i should join the Hindu Mahasabha. she is the right person for the post of PRIME MINISTER. Her ideas would be best accepted in the times of Pol Pot and his Khmer Rogue. In today`s times no sane person can even think an Indian map that includes Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. These countries if at all unified with the modern day India would be nothing more bloody parasites feeding on the fast growing Indian economy. Himani Savarkar has no right to justify Mahatma Gandhi`s assasination. Before making such a statmemt, "After reading about the situation prevailing then, I am surprised why many people did not get this idea... of removing the main reason for all that was happening then." she should try and understand the Mahatma in depth. No doubt Veer Savarkar was a great freedom fighter and sure he has not got the respect that he really deserved. Also Mani Shanker Aiyer is too small a person in stature to have passed rather derogatory remarks against a person as great as Veer Savarkar. He ideally should have been tried in the court of law and severely punished for his actions.
And what is this bull about everyone in this country being Hindus? There is no Hindustan. This country is India and Bharat. Nothing called Hindustan exists in this planet. Either they r living in their illusion or some 500 year old century. Mad People.
These are the people with sick mind . They are ready to assmilate pakistan in India in the name of akandh Bharat but are not ready to accord justice to 13 crore muslims in India
