the state was first in FDI inflow in 1999, now it is not in picture at all, merit can be counted on the performance not on arrogont steps

The Real Iron Lady?????
by Kirit Raja on May 06, 2004 10:02 PM

Million thanks to rediff for chossing "the most appropriate" title for Jaylalitha. She is a real Iron Lady because she does not afraid of:
- being involved in multi crore rupee scandals.
- being in top five more corrupt people in Indian history.
- cheating on people by making unrealistic, false and unachievable commitments.
- taking law in her hand.

Rediff has really disappointed a hard core fan of Rediff, like me by publishing the article with this title.

i am realy amused to read the 'financial irregularities'as your story wrighter chose to call one of the biggest corrupt politicians in the indian politics. he also says with glee that so far no charges have been proved. but how many politicians were sentenced for corruption except a few tribals like sibu soren.and possibly in future a dalit mayavathy or even a backward laloo.the writer's bias is all evidentthe way it was presented as if she is not tainted and innocent. how then she could spent rs.100 crs for her foster son. was it from from her own? in tamil nadu everybody knows the level of corruption during her rule.incidentally she was convicted but got out of 'tansi'case on thchnical grounds with a condition to surrender the land.
in the end it is halfbaked and biased article

JJ- The iron Lady

Mr Nadar,
You should get your facts right.
Dharmender, her co-star in "Izaath' is contesting from Bikaner and not Sikar.

It has become very fashionable for the press to condemn JJ for everything.
You talk about her action against The Hindu.
Why people of your ilk never raised your little finger when PMK supremo's henchmen assaulted presspersons and Rajinikant's fans in Madurai about 3 weeks back?

It reeks of nothing but double standards.

Wait until May 13. You will be stunned by the scale of her victory despite all that the press wants us to believe.

Totally Unfair!!
by Shankar on May 06, 2004 04:38 PM  | Hide replies

When you ask the question what has she done as chief minister, the answer must be both the positive and negative points. The answer given is totally unfair, given the progress made in Tamilnadu in past 3 years.

Yes! She is a Iron Lady.
We should learn that boldness from her.
But she is very good soft hearted helping tendency person for the poor students and children.

Regards

K.Muralikumar
