One thing that i have noticed on Rediff and similar sites is that whenever Indian team does well one barely gets to see any comments in the comment section but when Indian team lose one gets to see dozens of comments. I guess bad news really sells !!!

If the team is doing badly then it is the responsibility of the coach to learn from the mistakes and correct them. In the current situation the coach has been failing time and again and we are just waiting patiently for things to happen. It is time to take a fresh look and give better people a chance to coach the team.

I can gauze from the comments section Indian fans are dissapointed and feeling bitter but why make hateful,irrational comments towards the IPL or question the motivation of Indian players and there commitment towards India .
I can write a thousand lines about how IPL has been beneficial towards Indian Cricket, lets not forget how an out and out IPL hero like Jaspreet Bumrah has been India's best bowler, didn't Pandya pick 5 wickets and make 50 runs in the Nottingham Test ??
How come when India is winning no one praises IPL or question players commitment but whenever India lose much blame is pinned on IPL an players commitment is questioned ...

Indian team has already lost three opportunities in chasing moderate 2nd inning winning total owing to batsman. Surprised why Karun Nair is out of team and similarly Sriseher Iyer , Dhawan is not fit for test matches so also Ashwin very very poor bowling in England tour. Mr Shastri is useless and hope less compared to Kumbley.Pandeys must be rested to improve him in all disciples for matches.

well said yaar. these men cricketers fit for nothing. just no dumm to give a touch fight. If Virat wicket gone even 10 runs to win then also they bundle all out for 5 runs. That is the mental toughness lower order batman have. Loosing is part of life/cricket. Give touch fight. See the 3rd test how they fought, they didn't loose in turn they gave a tough fight Butler scored a century.

Take anyone, the bottom line is these players perform well on dead pitches in subcontinent N IPL, overseas pitches take the wind out of them! As regards Shastri, he was useless then, is useless now!
kohli is not a good enuff captain; shastri makes 8 cr a year for what? the only problem if shastri is stripped off coaching he will end up in the commentators box and bore us with his inanities and igonrance
