But surely know that this Bekaar Patel is going to get whacked very badly one day by some right wing guys with his nose bloodied and jaw broken. He is asking for it for a long time now.
Sachin was a great player. But Gavaskar was better than him as he scored runs without helmet in front of speedsters like Thompson, Lilly, Walsh, Ambrose etc. That requires exemplary courage.
Sachin was successful against Warne not Mc Grath. In 2003 australian tour both did not play. Sachin was decent enough against Akram,Walsh and Ambrose. Thats why he averaged 44 otherwise would have been over 50.
He was very similar to Ponting, Kallis, Dravid, Steve Waugh. But he was lucky. He got media attention which made him Great. He was averaging only 53 in tests and 44 in ODIs. There are lot of players better than him now. Pitches have also eased out and bats are bigger also. But still he was a legend. I saw one show cricket legends since inception of cricket. Each week one legend was shown. Bradman was placed at 1 and Richards at 2 and Sir Gary Sobers at 3.Sachin was at 31.Cricket produced many players like him Lara, Jack Hobbs, Len Hutton, G Headley, G Pollock, Ken Barrington, WG Grace, Keith Millers, Greg Chappel, Hanif Mohammad, Sangakarra, Gilchrist, Hayden, Ponting, Kallis, Steve Waugh, Gavaskar, Dravid etc.
the difference between don Bradman and Sachin , its a fact that during Bradmans times or even for virat kohli there are no great bowlers , the irony is Sachin scored these runs against Ambrose , Walsh , akram, younis , akhtar, Donald, McGrath , Warne , murli these are the all time great bowlers, they deserve respect so does Sachin ,please don't write article belittling efforts of greats of india without doing a proper research , can't believe rediff prints and pays you guys !
This guy writes on modi, tendulkar, army, navy, movies et all... really... By the way tendulkar would never have been called even a GR8 batsman had it not been for don bradam to call him play similar to him.. now we cannot ignore a white guy right...let us just call him the favourite cricketer of all time...just for numbers sake check sanga nos in england, aus and SA..
